Another good splash by the Bulls to shore up that perimeter game. Not saying this is the signing that sends them over the top, but with Boozer and Noah doing the dirty work down low and Rose's overall offensive game improving, Korver could have a career year with the amount of looks he should get.

Also have Reddick on an offer sheet now, if they can somehow find a tall backup center that can play D, bam.

One Derek Rose evolution away from serious threat.

Assuming our Cavaliers will be in some sort of limbo next season I have plans on rooting for 2 teams, A) the Lakers simply b/c I was a Showtime fan (really disliked the Celtics, forgive me I was young) B) the Bulls b/c I enjoy watching Rose and Chicago seem to be doing a lot of the right things right now in the FO. But when I say root for it is more along the lines of I am rooting against dickface and his clowns.

Not gonna lie FUDU, I just went out for drinks w/ my two biggest Boston Celtic/basketball purist fans.

Fucks at the bar had the LBJ-Wade-Bosh spectacle on because they were too lazy to turn off ESPN News.

My boy actually started grinding his teeth at one point and just muttering the word pussy. Turned into a "Paul Pierce may be a diva, but he would never go somewhere to play second fiddle" and "fuck that fucking fuck fucks ego"

Seriously, Boston fan sounds like JB right now.

It's kinda amazing.

Yeah, don't let the coverage on espn fool you: 85% of the country has turned against LeBron.

ESPN is just full of reporters who are friends with players, and former players. The latter has forgotten that fans care about teams, not individual players. In the medium run, players come and go.

Sadly, most of the ESPN writers get it too.

This is why I read the select few at ESPN and pretty much never turn on ESPN.

Although Abbot has gone from LBJ hater to LBJ cock sucker, I think Herm may have actually hit one the nail on the head for once. We might have to start calling him Russell Branyon.

Hate to say it but I have more respect for Pierce now than LBJ, and I have secretly had some respect for that boy since 2007. He's a warrior, I know he's a bit dramatic but they all are. Have yet to see Pierce quit in LeBron fashion.

HOFer without a doubt.

Most of the talking heads have predicted the hate for LBJ (outside of CTown) will subdue after next season, they are probably right to a point but this hatred might just hold some momentum and be with LeBron for a long time.

ETA: all these threads are running into each other anymore, but here goes, is there any doubt now at all that he quit in the Boston series and that he wasn't injured near enough to effect his game?

Honestly, JB nailed it.

The basketball purists in LA/Chicago/Boston/NY will continue w/ the hate.

Hipster basketball fan that has become the core of the diehard fan base over the past five years will forgive.

And seriously Pierce almost died from being stabbed like a dead chicken and played three weeks later. Guy defines warrior.

Why wouldn't Orlando match the Reddick offer? Seems like it could swing a bit of the competetive balance against them if they choose to let him go to Chicago. Howard still needs shooters around him too.

Peeks-good question. Can't see them just letting Redick walk. They did sign Duhon but I don't think that was to lessen losing Redick. Maybe they have a trade in the works?
