Just in case CDT didn't see himself (I think it got buried in that thread pretty fast).

Didn't listen to 850 but listened to 1350 this morning and Steven A was laying into TMLP. Saying that LBJ is a 25 year old and didn't deserve to be called out the way Gilbert did. That Gilbert was to blame for not getting All Star players around James. Obviously SAS didn't realize that Gilbert came in in '05 and the previous regime fucked up draft picks and what not. He was literally screaming into the mic calling Gilbert classless and "Mini Me". However I guess keeping a franchise hostage while signing short term deals and not allowing the FO to get players here becuase your superstar won't commit long term is okay in SAS's eyes.

He later had Jim Gray on and apparently this whole 1 hour infommercial was concocted during the Finals in LA. Gray is proud the way it went.

The way some of the media is defending how James went about this is ridiculous. Not being able to get AM in my building is actually a blessing in disguise

They the Antoine Joubert of burgers; soft, sloppy, oozing grease and cheap sauce and extremely overrated by a biased fan base. This is a huge sports story.

Why would I listen to 850?

Dog and Pony show every day. A major sports story not every day.

As per usual, you'd be better off with a national show instead of listening to a couple buffoons taking calls from bottle throwers.

Not sure where to post this, seems the Official thread is gone?

Last night's ratings for cable households.

9:00-9:15 36.7
9:15-9:30 41.8
9:30-9:45 29.6
9:45-10:10 21.5
Average 32.4

That is % of CCTV HH's watching ESPN at these times. Of any CCTV HH with the TV on, the share was 47%.

Especially since it's come out that The Three Caballeros met up in Akron the last weekend in June.

It'll go un noticed. I'm just waiting to see what charges Gilbert takes to the league office.

Pretty much.

What LeBron just did was perhaps up there in the most scummy thing in the history of sports.

It just continues to show how far ESPN is removed from it's audience, but they don't care, they'll continue to allow the Stephen A. Smith's and Mark May's of the world flap their gums and devolve into some third-rate tabloid.

And until there's no competition it will remain like this.
