Mid June to mid August?

NBA is finished up, college football is still 6-7 weeks away, pro ball 8-9 away and arguably the worst part is we're stuck with really only the boring dogs days of MLB and its nausea. You might say only the U.S. Open and the British Open come close to a relief until the first kickoff.

By far. Would actually say June 1 - Aug 1. Baseball starts to heat back up in Aug and you start to at least get some taster football exhibition games and a lot more football news.

I was gonna say the worst 60 days in sports is the period between Games 1 and 2 of any 1st round NBA playoff series but that would be just a small exaggeration.

I quit caring about baseball the strike year when one of my fave players, Matt Williams, had 43 in August and a chance to break Maris' record an they walked....then Mike Bagwell, who was done for the season with a wrist injury, got the MVP

I remember watching a couple hocky games and thinking ...I could get into this...

Then they went on strike...right when they had a chance to garner fans. Dumbasses....too many hockey pucks to the head

To each his own. This my favorite time of year because football sucks and so does the NBA. Baseball every night of the week throughout the summer. We all have opinions.
