Tiger 9-1 In Playoffs ... Amazing

Unread postby swerb » Mon Jan 30, 2006 2:23 pm

He just wears people into submission. Nathan Green and Olazabal both just melted down under the pressure of facing Tiger in a playoff.

Almost had to feel for Green. Tiger was just standing there glaring at him on the first playoff hole as he tried to play that ball from the side of the green after smacking his approach into the grandstand.

He chunks that one, and then duffs his next one, costing himself almost a half mill in the process.

Then Jose Maria misses a three footer to extend it to a 3rd playoff hole, and Tiger backs into a win with a couple pars in the playoff.

Forget Tigers length, and his precision iron play. He is money in the GD bank on those pressure putts from 3-10 feet.

Why do I feel tha Olzabal makes that tricky 4 footer if this were Ryder Cup competition and Tiger would Alice his putt.

If history is any indication Yog, you are right on the money.

US has to get it done in the Ryder Cup this year ...
