I was watching Justified the other night and caught a promo for the new Louie CK show. Is anyone else excited as hell about this? I love this guy. Best comic alive right now and my favorite since Mitch.
Show starts Tuesday June 29 at 11PM.
Mark it dudes.

My favorite comedian also. Chewed Up was fucking great, his bit on deer was killer. "I could shoot a baby deer in the mouth and not feel anything".
Chewed Up and Shameless are great, anybody who hasn't seen them, go do it right now.

This thread needs more Louie Anderson.

Love Louis C.K. He had a couple good stand-up specials on HBO and then Showtime. Watched all the episodes of his first show on HBO with Jim Norton. It was sorta up and down, probably why they canceled it. That show was live though so this one should do better under a different format.
Fuck the Browns...

Galley Boys are slop on top of a so-so burger and a bun you coulde get from a Covneninet food mart generic pack. They the Antoine Joubert of burgers; soft, sloppy, oozing grease and cheap sauce and extremely overrated by a biased fan base. Sepinwall and Feinberg reviewed it on their last podcast and both liked it a lot. One of them (Feinberg I think) said that by the end of the first episode his stomach was starting to hurt from laughing so hard.
Sounds like this might even be better than Caroline In The City.

I hate that podcast.
It's worth listening to because the actual content is good but those two and their fake ass terrible jokes makes me want to rip my ears off.
So much corny.

Hope it gets better next week...
I thought the 2nd ep was better than the pilot, but neither were better than the HBO series...
Great stand up doesn't always transfer well to small screen

The poker game at the start of episode 2 was fantastic, the rest was kinda weak. it'll get better i think.

I thoroughly enjoyed both, nothing better then painfully awkward humor. That said, it has room to grow and most probably will, often takes comedies a bit to find their stride. Christ it took Parks and Rec it's second season to go from terrible to best comedy on TV.
BTW: if I didn't know better I would swear JB was Louie.

Agree 100%. It was painful to watch him on that date. So uncomfortable. And when he took a good long look at that neighbor up and down I almost spit out my beer.
Agree on Parks and Rec too. Love that show now. Glad I didn't give up on it.

Exactly mother, pain to laugh at humor seems to be the plan of attack here. I agree the date was awesome.
