The differences really aren't much at all. Same story, just some minor changes made in locations (the opening terrorist plot is in NY for Donner's version, Paris for the theatrical release.

Some changes in dialog, none of it really that much when you get right down to it.

I have the Donner cut on my DVR but haven't found time to watch yet.
