Check this match out

http://espn.go.com/espn3/player?id=6367 ... =Wimbledon

On it's 8th hour, 5+ hour long set. Currently 44/43 in the 5th set. Its hilarious yet painful to watch at the same time.
In the end, we're all "only for a limited time," you guys.

I wish it was one of the sports icons then I'd consider turning it on, love those classic matches. Just cannot get into the no names of a sport like tennis.

No, I agree, at this point it is just about watching it end. I have it up on espn3 so I can hear the sound, it is not as if I am sitting on the edge of my seat. I will flip it over when someone breaks serve. 54/54 9 hours 20 minutes

The score in the 5th set. You have to win by 2 games, I by no means have nothing more than an elementary level understanding of tennis so correct me if I am wrong.

So how you would normally see it:

French Beret guy 4 6 7 6 54
Bad ass American 6 3 6 7 54

Of course he would surrender first. They should have moved it to the main court. I am pretty sure it has to have lights. The crowd deserved to see it end.

I watched more soccer and tennis today then I have ever wanted to, or ever care to in the future. That being said, between the end of the US game and then finding this tennis gem, wow. I left around 45-45 and was gone for an hour. And they were still playing. How that 6'9" guy could run around for 9 hours is beyond me. Props to both, too bad they had to call it. Probably won't have the same hootzpah tomorrow for the finish.

I've played tennis for 7 hours straight with a few half hour breaks in between here and there.

These two guys are going to be dead in the morning. Literally.

Anyway, even if you aren't a fan of the sport, give these guys some major props. Tennis isn't a physical sport like football, but even just 3 hours of high level tennis can make you tired as shit. I can't imagine being out there. Both are just on cruise control. And it's not mostly the players making mistakes, they're hitting aces and winners. Unreal.

Looked like the frenchi went to the ref/ump/whoever to complain he couldn't see. Also seemed like Isner's body language pointed to him being pissed they were calling it...

Plate tectonics should just shove the British Isles back up France's ass, because you guys are becoming just about as big of pussies. I mean that in the nicest way possible.

Look at your soccer team as France light... Whining, complaining, just haven't bailed on their coach or skipped out on practice YET.

Region has nothing to do with it.

You say it like I said and get your sleeveless Bald Eagle sitting on a F-16 shirt on.
