Listen to me Randy, it doesn't matter if you're white, or black, or a Sasquatch even. As long as you follow your dreams, no matter how crazy or against the law it is. Except for Sasquatch, if you're a Sasquatch the rules are different.- Meatwad

Agreed, what a shame, too early for a guy like him.

Bummer. I can't remember ever hearing anything bad about the guy.
I got this one rule. I never go out with girls who say "bitchin'".

Always wanted to see him play a game at CSU when Mackey tried to bring him on...

Dude blocked a shot every 5 minutes on the court...

Looked like a praying mantis running on it...

Yep, one of the good guys...

RIP Mr Bol

Loved Manute. Total fish out of water here in the states, but you just pulled for the guy. Huge heart, giving most of his earnings to build hospitals and help villagers in the Sudan.

Cleveland connections w/ CSU. Cleveland is also where he got help with learning English.

I was teaching at CSU the summer that Mackey was trying to hide Bol on campus, away from the NCAA spies.

Of course, it's hide to hide someone that tall. The first time I saw him, he was waiting for the elevator at the UC. I hadn't heard about him at the time - and when I saw him I thought he was 8 feet tall. I was heading for the elevators anyway, so I went over and stood next to him. I'm 6 feet tall, and when standing next to him I never felt so short in all my life. He used the elevator to go up to the second floor, which at the time gave me doubts about his conditioning.
