Such a bad summer for Nets.

Lottery followed by Avery.

Can't wait for them to finish it off with the Joe Johnson Amare po po platter.

What happened to all of these teams waiting for LeBron to pick the coach for them?

If I had to listen to Avery Johnson's voice for a dozen practices I'd go Sprewell on him.

Couple years into his gig in Big D, Avery looked like one of the next great coaches. Then came the next couple seasons. And these last couple of listening to him make a fool of himself on ESPN.

Over/under on when he gets canned: Jan 15, 2012.

I listen to the guy and ask myself, "are you kidding me? this guy was an NBA head coach??" Not his voice, his knowledge, his insight. Barkley sounds way more insightful about the NBA and basketball than this guy.

The Nets are going to end up with Johnson or Stoudemire?

At this point, offering Rudy Gay superstar money might be their best-case scenario.

At least the Nets will have a solid representative for the NBA Cares program, a lot more books will get read effectively to the students anyhow.

You guys all have strong negative opinions on Johnson. I dont know him at all.

But I happen to think the Nets GM, Rod Thorn is one of the best in the NBA and hiring Johnson was his call.

If Johnson looked stupid on ESPN, maybe its from the water in Bristol, cause everyone on the station seems to lack intellegence to me.
