Blackhawks in 5. Too much skill, too much depth. Niemi's been excellent. Leighton has too, but MTL didn't have much offensive firepower. CHI does.

I think Pronger can help keep Byflugein out of the front of the net.

Philly is the touger team, Niemi will choke.

Maybe it was me, maybe it was the fact I had a massive hang over but I couldnt get into that game no matter how hard I tried. The first period didnt seem to have much flow. Passed out midway through 2.

Philly better wake up or this series will be over real quick. Will be interesting to see if they get going on home ice.

Niemi was excellent again in Game 4. A couple grimy goals got the best of him. Philly's really carried the physical play in this series and if they find a way to win tomorrow night, that's going to start wearing on the Hawks.

It amazes me that a team can have motivational issues in the Stanley Cup, but Chicago clearly is. They're getting beaten down by Philly's physical play and haven't seemed to want to match it. Their defensive zone coverage was beyond terrible.

That said, they mounted a comeback and should have momentum off that going in to Game 5. PHI can't be comfortable with the 3rd period that they played.

Jeremy Roenick said it best, "you never have to worry until you lose at home". CHI still has the upper hand with the two home games and the matchups Quenneville likes to play.

I don't think either team can win on the road in this series, so I guess that sadly means Blackhawks in 7. *shudder*

Chicago playing like they want it tonight. First goal was a lucky bounce but the second was a nifty redirect off Leighton's skate.

I know I was pulling for Chicago but damn that song they play after each goal is so annoying I am reconsidering.

This has been a helluva series. Nice move tonight by the Hawks to bust up their top line, which got Prongered in games 3 & 4. Of the three 1st period goals, 2 came with Byflugien playing with the second line and the other went off Prongers skate.

Have really enjoyed the NHL playoffs this year after 4-5 years of watching next to no hockey. THis finals, off the heels of the Olympics, good for the sport. Good to see.

Gotta milk the cow while she's producing. The Blackhawks were one of the most inept franchises in the league earlier this decade because owner Bill Wirtz was a cheap douche. After his death, his kid seems to have helped right the ship.

With the White Sox being terrible, the Cubs not very good, the Bears fallen from grace, and the Bulls in the offseason, they've gotta jump on the Hawks. Suffice to say, Pronger's far and away the most known player on the Flyers for the casual hockey fan. Plus, the whole taking of the pucks after games incidents and his overall smugness.

Many in hockey circles hate Pronger, but they respect the hell out of him for his track record.

I like Roeper. Liked him as a movie critic and reading his book about betting a grand or more a day over 30 days, with the idea taken from Spurlock's Super Size Me documentary.

As far as I'm concerned, it's cut and dry why minorities don't play hockey and why they aren't into the sport.

I agree totaly, most minorities just ain't into it. That's just a fact of life, not something the NHL can change or be held responsible for.

Im with you Peeks. Just wanna see more hockey. Wanna pull for the Blackhawks in this series, Byflugien is one of the funnest players, any sport, to watch. Like the city of Chicago and its people a lot more than Philly. Got a couple buds in Chicago who would push their gramma down the stairs for the win tonight.

But I can't help but pull for this Flyers team. So GD gritty. All playoffs. Classic Pacino "Just when I think that I'm out ..." from Godfather III stuff. Likable players.

Been going back and forth all series on who I want to see win the Cup. Right now I just wanna see a game 7.

A good playoff from the first round to the end.

Lots of question marks around the league now. The draft, four teams with new coaches, some new GMs, it should be an interesting offseason.

It's funny you say that. Lots of people on the main hockey message board I frequent can't stand Emrick. I'm a huge fan of his also.

The best commentating duo in hockey is Drew Remenda and Randy Hahn with the Sharks on Comcast out there in the Bay Area. They give the most credit to the opposition and are the least homerish announcers. Not like the assholes for FS Pittsburgh or the two jokers who do the Jackets.

It probably takes alot of Mike's hard Lemonade to get those "guys" drunk. That's if they're actaully drinking alcohol and not their drink of choice, man juice.
