Man, what's going on? There's A-Holes having summits all over the place this summer.

I think FMB has the best idea. I haven't completed my plans for my summer trip back to the homeland, so I need to think about this. We could end up having the Mother of All Asshole Summits.

JB, this is the WORST summer for movies that I've seen since I started writing here. I mean nothing but crap. Iron Man 2 might be the best we get all summer, and that movie isn't anywhere as good as the first.

The only movie I'm actually looking forward to seeing this summer is "Inception", with Christopher Nolan doing another mind bender WTF movie with Leo DiCaprio.

Other than that, I'm just hoping to get some middling level of "entertainment" from "The A-Team", "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" (which actually looks like it may be fun), "Salt" (probably a chick rip-off of the Bourne movies), and just MAYBE "The Expendables" (Stallone, Mickey Rourke, Jet Li, Jason Statham, Dolpf Lundgren, Eric Roberts, with Bruce Willis and Ah-nuld Governator in small roles).

In previews, it looks like "Twilight: Eclipse" may be the best of the three faggy vampire movies, with a lot more action...but that's like saying that Brady Quinn was the best QB on the Browns last year...BFD. I also have hope that that sci-fi horror movie coming out this week, "Splice" is worth the early good buzz it's getting. I have some hope for "Predator" as well.

Other than that, there are so many movies this summer that just look to be horrible. It may be so bad that M. Night Shyamalan's latest suckfest "The Last Airbender" might not get into the bottom five with such shit as "Macgruber", "Get Him to the Greek", "Killers" (Ashton Kutcher and Katherine Hiegl try to do "Mr & Mrs. Smith"), "The Karate Kid", "Knight & Day" (Tom Cruise Sucks Again), and "Dinner for Schmucks" out there.

It's like anything else man: you have to work at it to be great. Once in a while bouncing ideas or beer bottles off the heads of other like-minded assholes is the best way to take it to the next level.

Gotta admit, I love me some Erie PA. The casino is open at Erie Downs and there are some dooshbag bars and hotels we could probably get banned from. Downside is all the good beach parts are state owned & run, so it's dry. OTOH, TC is also coming up. Hard to pass on a day and night at Berea for an a-hole summit. A little Residence Inn fort of a-holes near Bagley with two-a days punctuated by 5 hours of beers at Damons (or maybe a minivan taxi to Grt Lakes?) is never bad.

Do you have to be nominated or can you just declare yourself an a hole and show up? Or maybe some thinks theys not when they is? can Ea$t Side come back in?

Actually, I like those guys. I think Hill is funny in the right roles, and that Brand guy cracked me up in Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Haven't seen him in anything else, though.

I know he's in the remake of Arthur, but my problem with that has less to do with Brand than it has to do with whatever A-Hole decided that it would be a good idea to remake Arthur.

I realize I'm probably in the minority here about those two.
