What Bobby Knight would do during half time against the Celtics in the series as the head coach of the Cavs.

Then Delonte would probably pull his gun out and shoot him.

"I'm tired of losing to Purdue.."

I don't believe that phrase has ever been uttered by anyone, before or after he had said it.

Have a great amount of respect for the man, he was old school Woody Hayes type of coach, him and Keady just are near identical in just about every category.

Last time I checked, Bob Knight was not a professional NBA coach, so it is irrelevant.

Lighten up Francis.

EDIT: 1:25 PM I just ran across another thread which explained OldDawg's response here. I'd like to apologize to OldDawg for thinking that he was taking this thread the least bit seriously. I think I need to do a bit more lurking and a bit less being a smartass.

The thread is startling to getting off-topic. I wanted it to be focused on the lulz induced by Bobby Knight and how it would affect the Cavs. People need to learn how to role play or use there imagination.

When I role play Bobby Knight is rarely involved.

Role Playing the scenario of Bobby Knight giving this half-time speech to the Cavs. Not role playing as Bobby Knight.

Alright, I'm going to answer Tripod's question.

F. is the correct answer due to the appearance of the superb Rachel Leigh Cooke in the original incarnation of the commercial.

Despite the fact that Rachel would go on to be sullied by both Freddie Prinze Jr AND Paul Walker (in the same movie no less) she remains ridiculously smoking hot.

This thread is the poster child for the gradual decline of western civilization (or at least this forum). Probably needs to be moved to the library for safe keeping. Years from now people will wander by and ask aloud - "What ever happened to that really great board for hoops discussion" and the mods can point to this thread and simply say "That."
I don't need to be patient, they're going to be shit forever.

Dumbass, the correct to answer to any question is "Spinal Tap". They turned it up to 11, RLC has never turned it up to 11. Plus she married Tom Cruise.

Apology accepted yet not needed. I have thick skin.

The other thread MS refers to is the "Who are the Cavs thread" where Prosecutor responds rather thoughtfully to Eric Cassono's piece on the home page. TBigz's responds quite abruptly, and then I respond to him as such:

OldDawg wrote:
TBigz wrote:Thats Eric Cassano's opinion. The last time I checked he is not a professional NBA coach.

Wow. Great addition. Thanks for the input.
Hey Swerb, lets just shut down this whole website, because none of us are professional coaches, hence, have no right to post our opinions. Pretty much puts all such websites out of business. Shame... I kinda enjoyed interacting with you guys... Though I now have no valid points to make, not being a professional coach, that is.

Which led to my response to him on this thread.

Keady always got hosed in the tourney selection, ended up having to play LSU in baton rouge one year I believe, and UNC or Duke in Charlotte.

it's a damn shame though, hey at least there's that women's basketball championship we won in 1999. :hide:

Keady used to complain a lot about getting hosed by the selection committee- and to an extent he had a point- but Purdue's problems in March were always centered on a lack of athleticism compared to the teams they were playing.

I know location wasn't the issue in 1990 when Purdue was a #2 seed, were slotted in the Hoosier Dome and still got knocked out in the second round by the 10th-seeded "BMW" Texas Longhorns.
