coaching staff question

read on cleve.com today that all of the assistant coaches supposedly are going to be retained.

Just wanted your thoughts on why that would be (other than the fact that we might hire from within).

So now we have to convince an outside coach that he can't hire his own staff??
Sounds like we're setting up to dip into the college ranks....
but in no place is the pain like Cleveland's: all-encompassing, multi-generational, redundant and unique at once.

Outside coach would have the option of retaining one/any of those coaches. If for some reason a current asst. is hired, he would be able to utilize that staff should he desire. LeBron and others may have close ties to one/any of those coaches and the effort to retain them (Jent) could increase the likelyhood LeBron stays.

The last point increases the chance we get a decent coach...

They can still be fired. Just haven't been. (Yet?)
