"Title-starved Knicks fans" LOL!

I do find it funny that the comparison of the two cities is so skewed it's actually hilarious. No love for the Michael Symon restaurants in the area?

no wonder this paper is third in nyc behind the times and post, this reads like a 14 year old girls fan fiction.

I don't normally care too much about this kind of stuff. I certainly haven't given much thought to LeBron leaving. But this is a bit much. I'm kind of surprised they didn't put D-Wade or Bosh in a Knicks uni standing next to him, with a wall of championship trophies in the back. I'd love to see the role reversal if LeBron played in NY all this time, and the PD ran a front page story with LeBron in his "new" Cavs uniform. Only in NY.

It's a treasured past-time here to find ways to make yourself miserable.

Which is odd given that misery rarely needs to be sought after as a Cleveland sports fan.

Maybe it's a case where age leads to ambivalence but I have no freakin' clue why people feel the need to worry about/post any of this stuff.

Dammit. The local stores ran out of Skoal Mint so I had to move over to Copenhagen for a tin. Guess what's more annoying: LBJ/NYC or having to go to an alternative nicotine delivery system?

Just because you're distracted by your fiending for nicotine doesn't mean everyone else is as weak willed and unable to get all worked up over other things.

I might watch Tuesday's Cavalier game while chain-smoking Winstons, a dip in each side of the lip and with Nico-Derm patches covering my body. At least someone will feel a sense of urgency and have their heart racing a bit.

Cigarettes don't make you smelly that's just a stereotype to put the smoker down. And yeah they have delicious tobacco flavor and cooling menthol. When i'm in meetings or in my office I use Snus pouches so i don't have to spit like a barbarian. I should be able to smoke in a bar.... It's a FUCKIN BAR!

I know enough people who smoke to know they do make you stinky, its ok, most of you would probably smell with out the cigs ;-) ;)

How is that Snus stuff, I have never tried it, but I will say that part of the draw for dip is the spitting, not sure why.

You should be able to smoke in a bar, but all those damn libs took that right away. I dont even smoke and like smoke in bars... I think this thread has been officially hijacked... b ut it is more Lebron to NYC stuff so if there is everyone to be hijacked...

Apparently, NY press did not get the memo that LeBron will be wearing #6 next year, so he would never be #23 in a Knicks' jersey. I mean, if you are gonna dream, at least get things accurate.

Jesus. We almost got back on track thread-wise there for a second when clearly there are 876 other "The Media is Mean/Disrespectful to Us" threads to play around in.

So, to get back to the hi-jack, is the Snus as potent as the dip? I don't some fucking candy when I'm jonesin'. And it would seem to me that's what they're going for if you can basically eat the stuff.

I need Snus info. Preferably in this thread only please.

Don't know about this Snus stuff.

But $2.09 for a can of Copenhagen Long Cut is too good to pass up. Can chew a couple cans a day and still be cheaper than smoking!

Agreed. Was surprised by the $2.09 for Copenhagen. I go long periods of time with one flavor. I started with Skoal straight, went to Kodiak wintergreen then went to Skoal Mint. I'm loyal to a flavor for some time and then, for whatever reason, I take a flyer and switch.

Still can't stand the cherry, berry or any of the fruit flavored stuff.

Also can't even bring myself to try any of the Grizzly, Wolf or Hawken stuff. Is any of that shit decent?

Giant Eagle. All of the Cope Long Cut "flavors" are 2.09. Normal prices for the fine cut and the original flavor long.

Damn 2.09 is dirt cheap.

Peek, Grizzy wintergreen ain't too shabby. Certainly cuts down on the cost if you are a habitual dipper, but at 2.09 for Cope it cant still be that cheap. I think it was around that price. When I was in college I would get the Grizz when I spent all my money on beer and chipotle. Couldnt always afford the pleasure of Skoal or Cope.

Real men bounce between Skoal Straight and Cope Snuff, but I would expect tAngry Bald One to be a Girly Mint Guy.

That said, I must admit that I have been on the Cope Wintergreen lately, as it's introductory price on hits me up at $5.70 a can opposed to the $9 a can I get raped for anything else.

When I'm really fed up w/ sin taxes I just hit up one of my Gov't peeps that black markets stuff and get it tax free.

And I have to rip butts when I'm boozing hard, but when I'm walking down the sidewalk sober and some assclown is smoking I'm genuinely tempted to throw them into traffic. Nothing more disgusting then the smell of Cigs while sober. I'll admit I hypocritically I fiend like a crackhead once that buzz gets strong though.

Well, that's what my wife was dipping when we met and she made me start and she's a slave to the mint. ;-) ;)

I can't keep the snuff intact to tell ya the truth. That shit's just everywhere after ten minutes.

$9/can? Good God. :thud:

I just returned to the underworld of dipping.

And I m scared to put a Cope snuff back in my lip. I would end up being back on the "dip in while awake" program. That shit is that good.

This Cope long cut straight is pretty freakin good in its own right though.

Back to Bron.

I defy anyone to watch "More than a Game" closely, really think about the psychological make up of LBJ, and tell me with a straight face you think he'd leave.

He's so shaped by his upbringing all he craves is roots.

It will be a personal blast for me when NYC is spurned.

BTW , since when is NYC the home of the greatest basketball fans? I mean, sure as shit in't C-town given Ohio's football obsession makeup, but it isn't NYC either.

Over - rated.

So, to get back to the hi-jack, is the Snus as potent as the dip? I don't some fucking candy when I'm jonesin'. And it would seem to me that's what they're going for if you can basically eat the stuff.

I need Snus info. Preferably in this thread only please.

It's steam cured tobacco in a pouch. That goes inside your upper lip, no spitting

Snus is potent imo, it's purpose is to help the nicfit for smokers who are in a place where they can't light up. Is it as strong as dip? I don't know, because I don't dip. But I do know it's great for when i'm nicin' and need a fix.

JB still thinks Akron is C-town.

LBJ has made the difference between the places VERY clear.

Beyond that, feh, this thread is retarded as is discussing this right now. We'll have plenty of time to throw ourselves in front of buses shortly if we no show game 5.

Naw I feel that and have read Bron's takes.

But for all his AK Rowdy hair splitting that makes spin proud, keep in mind ONLY the Cavs have his employment office within a 30 minutes dailey commute from his mansion in Dahmer-ville, home to he baby momma and babies. Home to the fabulous Ms. Gloria. Near Home.

He moved around too much as a kid. Did a number on him. No F way he wants to do that to his. NFW.

That's why the Dailey Rag's headline is so funny in its irony. These meglamaniacs just don't get it.

100% agree with this.

They win it all he ain't leaving.

They lose and Brown is gone and LBJ ain't leaving.

Combine what JB said (the biggest reason BTW) and the fact he has an owner who's made him a partner in the team for all intents and purposes, and I stand by the 90-95% "Stays".

Now,he'll extract his pound of flesh from the nrvous fan base, no doubt. But divas do that.

I expect him to stay, but I will pass along this thought from my pops (and I'll admit the thought crossed my mind yesterday as well):

"LeBron reminds me of how employees perform after they've decided they're leaving. Uncharacteristic inconsistency. Can't sustain effort and involvement."

Bear in mind he is one of the most pessimistic (realistic?) fans I know.

That would aaaaaaaalmost make sense, except that it isn't a average joe job.

LBJ keeps a title with him forever, he doesn't earn it for cleveland and go.

Individually he has just as much or more to gain by winning this championship this year whether he leaves or not.

I still don't understand why he's even left it up in the air.

Him keeping his options open is BS because he already knows what hes going to do (more than likely stay) so why not just fucking say it and end this nonsense.

But I do want to know 2 things.

1. How long hes going to wait to say where hes playing
2. How long is the deal going to be
Cleveland is the city where we come from so run run
