Good question and the one that everyone of us asks ourselves when watching our playoff teams in a series, regardless of the sport.waborat wrote:Sure, everyone here wants to win em both this weekend, but what if they end up with a split...
Will you be alright coming back with only one victory & have HCA again???
Personally, give me one and we're pretty much where I thought we'd be against Boston...
Yes, even if we suck dust again tomorrow and we win on Sunday

If they show up and play hard both games yielding a split I'll be happy.

I think the games go to an every other day schedule starting Friday, so the pace is really about to pick up.

To clarify, schedule goes Friday 7PM (BOS), Sunday 3PM (BOS), Tuesday 8PM (CLE). The rest are TBD, if necessary.
After this week's lull, we going into warp speed and we'll find out pretty quick if it's our year in the sun. I plan on enjoying it. When this thing hits 88 miles per hour, you're some see some serious sh*t.
Wouldn't one assume the shorter turn around/less recovery time favors the younger, less aching Cavs?

... but honestly, a real championship contender takes both games in Boston. I really think if the Cavaliers get their shit together, and if LeBron quits being such a pussy, they'll be up 3-1 by the time the weekend is over.

Maybe that was the seminal moment in the playoff career of LeBron James last night.
Maybe that was the switch being flipped for an all-time great player. I don't know. I do know his expression didn't change whether he was throwing down a twisting baseline dunk or whether he was getting Wes Unselded by Kendrick Perkins.
No Goose-eye bullshit.
No playing with the opposing bench.
No whining and crying and diva bullshit when he got nicked going to the rim.
Maybe that was it.
I don't know.
But I've watched 90 games now. Same as many of you guys. This is a team a lot like Delonte: two good days and one where they look off their meds.
I still don't get how we as a fan base can't figure that shit out. How we look at a game like Monday night and want to call the series in imminent danger and how we look at a game like last nigh and declare the Celtics done and get ready to anoint the Cavs.
This team will likely lose another game in this series. Don't know when but its probably gonna happen. And people will moan and whine.
We're a lot like this team in that way: despite the fact we know better, we're as effing bi-polar as they are.
I'd love to see the Cavs in 5. But Cavs in 6 is still where I'm standing.
BTW- Think at some point this series will produce a game for the ages? Is there a chance we get an epic game or are the C's too old and the Cavs too schizo to give us that?

The only way Sunday's game would be disappointing to me is if they come out and play like games 1 & 2...
Can't see the C's looking that bad again (or the Cavs that good again)?
I'm now satisfied, yet greedy like everyone else

Like the announcer said, if the Cavs play well, the Celtics can't beat them. Call me greedy if I expect the Cavs to bring their game and play well every night.

I don't think you give this Celtic team nearly enough credit.
