probably a lot of truth to this, but the fact remains woodson has no contract for next year and a first round playoff loss means he outta there....

If you are dumb enough to be watching baseball or something else instead of this Mavs - Spurs game get yourself right and turn it on.

Effing outstanding.

Jordan Hill? Really? Man do I have Eastern Conference bias.

Or is it George...see, I need to watch more basketball out of my own bubble.

Shocked Dallas managed to get back into that game. Marion, Haywood, Dampier completely useless/invisible throughout the whole first round.

Porpoius looks legit, though.

Dallas just ran into San Antonio at a bad time. How great would it be if the Cavaliers played the Spurs in the Finals?

I am absolutely shocked, shocked, that Brendan Haywood vanished during the postseason.

If it happens it'd be great if Manu and Parker collided and had to miss a month in the game that won them the WCF.

That team's playing very well.

I had both San Antonio and Utah into the next round but I thought each series would go the distance (and the Utah series still may).

I'm surprised Utah is still alive sans Okur and AK-47.

Losing Okur and AK47 hurts, but this guy's got a plug and play system that can incorporate anyone he's drafted and operate with minimal slippage. Plus, they still have Boozer and D. Williams- so the leadership is in tact. LAL/Utah, anyone?

Cease, I agree with everything you said except calling Boozer a leader. I just don't see him as a guy I would call a leader.

I liked Utah to win as much because Denver is in disarray than for anything Utah was bringing.

Seriously, you look at a Denver sideline huddle or pre-game talk and it looks like four women talking about how to change a tire.

Soup sandwich.

There's no one there to lead that team and they have a few cats who are high maintenance. Billups was fine when Karl was there to support him and keep things settled.

Just not like that with Dantley and his crew.

I underestimated how important Karl was. When he went out I figured a guy like Billups would take the leadership role on the floor.

Well, Williams anyway... Boozer's still a key guy for them in executing the offense and hitting that elbow J. I'd miss Okur more than AK, but Sloan's system isn't dependent on either of them.

Side note, I was wearing my old Boozer Cavs free t-shirt from his rookie year the other day in the Metroparks. Some guy gave me the stink-eye and called me out "man, can't believe you're wearing that." He shook his head. It was awesome.

Kobe wanting to delay the coronation of Durant. Yet the Thunder still close despite Durant's current 3-16 shooting slump. Should make an interesting 4th quarter...Somebody better a stop on Kobe.

What a game.

Durant is a beast, but westbrook really stepped up in this game.

OKC's fans are really showing up in full force, reminds of us during the '07 ECF.

Excellent basketball game.

Very cool to see the OKC fans give their Thunder a standing O after the loss. What a season for these guys. Sky is the limit. Gonna have a lot of fun watching this team for a lot of years.

CAVS-OKC Final in the future would be epic, depending on how this season shakes out for us of course ;).

e0y2e3 wrote:Honestly, beyond watching the Celtics get their shit pushed in watching this Bucks team + Bogut is what I was most looking forward to in the East in round one (I mean, really, the Cavs are not going to lose a game and we all knew this).

Damned incredible shame his arm was shattered into a million pieces on that fluke freaking play.
Bogut was averaging like 3.14 blockers per game in the second half. Guy was becoming a true force.

Now the only somewhat interesting thing (beyond watching the Celtics get their shit pushed in) is Stan Jeremy versus Larry Brown. And that series goes five max.

great take on the heat-celtics series by the way faggy. i would have thought the one thing you would be an expert on is getting your shit pushed in. considering that's how you were conceived.

I'm not really one to say anything to the mods, but about that "following me into every thread and melting even if I never post in his direction" thing.

The Deer v. Hawks game is on.

also thank god for NBA TV, had orignally flipped on ESPN and all they kept discussing was baseball. I mean, I love the Tribe as much as the next guy, but it's NBA Playoff time, and april/may baseball is pretty dull.
