Cast to Re-Unite for Hangover 2

Unread postby skatingtripods » Wed Mar 31, 2010 3:01 pm

Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifiankis, and Ed Helms are all officially on board. Making $5M a piece for the sequel.

God I hope it doesn't absolutely blow.

Amazing that the first one raked in $467M with a $34M budget. Talk about a great return on investment.

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!

That's Hollywood for ya, they'll fuck it till it's dry.

It was a funny movie, just not as funny as the hype made it out to be.

Cool. I thought the first one was great. I thought it was every bit as funny as people made it out to be.

SO, I have confidence that they can get a sequel right. I hope they do. But just once. One sequel is enough.
I got this one rule. I never go out with girls who say "bitchin'".

The fast-paced flashback style of the film was as important as the story itself. It will be hard to duplicate without Todd Phillips breaking out another unique style for part 2. Unless they lay back and bank on Galifianakis bringing the funny (which would also work and is more likely).

Phillips is back on board to direct, not sure who's going to write it. Strange, the 4th guy (the bachelor dude) isn't signed to do part 2 yet- as far as I know. Maybe he's not getting the $5M the rest are getting.

Little known fact about me: I'm in a Phillips directed movie with a full 5 seconds of face time. Yeah, I just name dropped.

Tough to argue with that Ziner.

Yeah. The second one was awful. AND IT"S STILL GOING.

They made a prequel to Dumb and Dumber... like 8 people saw it.

Christ.... I just saw the trailer for the hideous looking Crusie and Diaz movie...... Why can't someone nuke Hollywood? That way we can make movies in the deep south like we're supposed to.
