I'd like to beat the writers and producers with a rubber hose for taking one of the greatest concepts in network television history, with a super leading actor, and systematically ruining it over the course of the last 4-5 years.

Being kind for sure.

But it at least entertained me up until this season, gave me a reason to watch. Kind of like a grandparent you knew was sick and dying but who you could still go see, enjoy hanging with and get a kick out of.

This season that grandparent is in a coma, on a respirator and the smell of death is hovering everywhere in the room. You just wish the end would come.

well then they damn well better kill jack bauer's character. otherwise, there will be no finality to the show. if they do have a final movie then, i think it would be very appropriate to have a suicide bomber blow up ctu with jack in the process of trying to diffuse the bomb when it goes off and then when they both go to whatever you call the islamic version of heaven, jack can f@ck all the bomber's 72 virgins!!!

Season 1 = solid, season 2 = okay, I never enjoyed it but I could at least understand how others did at that point.

This is bullshit. They aren't cancelling it after this season. It's already been cancelled. They just never told anyone.

They've put together this season with extra footage shot over the course of the last few seasons and some old episodes of Who's Line Is It Anyway. I'm surprised it makes as much sense as it does.
