2B Ian Stewart (also 3B)
SS Jason Bartlett
3B Evan Longoria (1st round pick, 8th overall)
OF Justin Upton
OF Andrew McCutcheon
OF Vernon Wells (hate this pick, but modem crashed for a minute and got autopicked)
U Pablo Sandoval (great value in the 5th, eligible at 1B and 3B)
U Todd Helton (same as with Wells, but only hate it due to having 2 1B already)
Bench Colby Rasmus
Bench Milton Bradley

ZacK Greinke
Josh Beckett
Chad Billinglsey
Gavin Floyd
James Shields
John Danks
Rick Porcello
Jorge K La Rosa
Scott Feldman

My team is a GM's dream. Pretty much all young guys with lotsa upside.

Thoughts anyone?

CTB 07, like the starters. Bullpen's brutal unless Jenks shits the bed. Feliz is getting blown up this spring.

Your OF is weak for sure.

Sure you got enough Indians on that team? Was Markakis your 2nd rounder? I like your 1st team much better than the 2nd.

My second rounder was Lester. My third rounder was Figgins. Markakis was in the 6th round.

When it came down to it, my SS choices were Asdrubal, Peralta with two eligible positions, and some other lower tier guys. Peralta's a gut feeling.

Hafner was my 17th rounder. I probably could have gone with Helton or Chris Davis, but I'd rather take a gamble on Hafner.

Westbrook and Carmona were my 19th and 21st rounders. The other guys who went around there were Chamberlain, Lowe, Bedard, Lilly, Harang. Nothing really special there and Carmona's got bigger potential upside than all of them.

I got a lot of underachieving guys last year who should go back to their mean this year. Take Geovany Soto for instance. Same with Carmona. Same with Peralta.

Outside of Fausto, my only other guy with an ERA over 4 last year was Pettitte.

Markakis in the 6th was a steal. I was just about to blast you for taking him too early, but that's great value where you got him.

I've got my H2H draft tonight so I'm a bit curious - you took Lester 24th, I cant imagine there were so many SPs off the board there. Lincecum, Greinke, Halladay, Felix, CC, Carpenter, Wainwright, Haren had all been taken already? Or are you just that high on Lester?

Pitchers that were gone before I took Lester: Lincecum, Halladay, Felix, Greinke. CC went last pick of the 3rd round.

I also took Peavy before Haren. Verlander went before Haren and Carpenter. Wainwright went two picks after Verlander.

Just high on Lester. He figured it out in the 2nd half last year going 7-2 2.82 with 94 K in 89 IP. He plays on a better team than Haren too. Not to mention, after Haren's insane start, 5-5 4.62 in the second half.

In retrospect, I could have taken CC before Lester, but Lester's just hitting his prime and has a better bullpen.

Yeah I drafted Westbrook in the later rounds. Hopefully he's going to be the steal of the draft.

Before I drafted him I was telling the other players that my next pick would be the steal of the draft. After I drafted him they just laughed.

Did my 10 team H2H last night. This is the league I care about the most.

C Chris Ianetta (last round)
1B Joey Votto
2B Chone Figgins (he is moving to 2B in Seattle. I wont have him eligible there the first week so I had to take Asdrubal in the 2nd to last round as a stopgap)
SS Jason Bartlett
3B Alex Rodriguez
OF Justin Upton
OF Carlos Quentin
OF Jason Heyward
U Mark Reynolds (K's dont count against you)

You can start any 7 pitchers regardless of SP/RP; I just didnt bother taking any closers.
Adam Wainwright
Yovanni Gallardo
Ubaldo Jiminez
Gavin Floyd
Ricky Nolasco
Johnny Cueto
David Price
Aroldis Chapman
JA Happ
Rick Porcello
Randy Wolf

I think the most interesting thing about this team is that 8 of 21 players are 24 or younger, and only 3 are above 30. So I got tons of upside. I really wanted Fausto but effed up and took Randy Wolf with my 3rd to last pick, and had to use my last 2 picks to fill C and 2B.

CTB07, you really took some chances with that lineup. If it was a keeper, you'd be in great shape. Tons of K's in the rotation. Tons. You shouldn't lose that category at all this season.

You've got some pop in the lineup. I'm not buying Bartlett this year. I think he was a fluke. I think Zobrist really overachieved and I think people blowing 3rd and 4th rounders on him can only help me.

Shit, I hope Figgins keeps his 3B eligibility. I've got Aaron Hill for 2B already in that one league where I have Chone.
