Perhaps the FBI has the evidence to resolve George's death. There are so many possible scenarios. In the absence of evidence, one can speculate almost without end.
Sounds like George got into a scuffle with one or more of the Russians and/or the other kid. When an attractive young woman is being flirtatious around a group of young men, trouble often occurs. The guys left out sometimes turn to riotous drinking, boasting, wrestling and other purile sex substitutes. The fact the Russian boys were involved in a possible "date drug" rape the following day suggests the boys may have had quite a stash of this drug, and were in full swing using it on unsuspecting females on board. Could have been they used it on Jen and George, with the idea of tag teaming Jen once George passed out?
But her eye was on the casino manager. It is pretty obvious she kicked George in the Smith family jewels, then left with "Lloyd" to go back to his cabin for some horizontal hula. She was discovered at 4:45 passed out right by a locking door leading to the crews quarters. She certainly did not want to go back and face the music with George, so she just laid down in the hall and crashed. Jen has an airtight alibi that the FBI knows, much better than "I passed out and don't remember a thing."
Sounds like she wanted to clear out the next morning without running into that party animal George, who would have no doubt inquired into her wherabouts from 3 - 4:45 when she was banging Lloyd. She woke up with her clothes still on (haven't we all at one time?), then got enough blood flowing to realize, in the immortal words of Desi Arnaz, that she had "some 'splainin' to do." So its off to the spa toute de suite, at least an hour early for her appointment. This scenario means George was either killed by the rowdy boys, or killed himself in despair after being made a cuckold.
Some loose ends that bother me: Josh, the 20 yr.-old, seemed inappropriately concerned about Jen's welfare the next morning. He was at the guest services offices as soon as he heard them paging George. He asks out of the blue about blood outside the cabin. Maybe he knows something of George's fate. He passionately laid out Jen's alibi to the Turkish police: "She was with another man." Perhaps he was just enamored with Jen. Perhaps he joined the Russian boys in a gang bang of a highly inebriated Jen, and now he feels guilty and sorry for poor George.
Maybe Jen being found by the crew quarters was part of a ruse to cover the boys' tracks after the very successful date rape gone suddenly awry. Sounds like she was hanging all over the casino manager, so it's very believable she went with him to his room. Could be the boys(and perhaps Lloyd as well) had their way with her, then noticed poor old George laying on the floor, having had his ass kicked and having lost his woman to the dog pack, was no longer breathing due to all the hard liquor (and maybe a little Ghb as a chaser). So they put her in the hallway, cleaned out George's safe, then gave him the heave ho off the balcony. Maybe in their drunkenness they thought he would hit the ocean instead of the canopy.
Poor George. He didn't protect his woman, and put himself in danger with all that drinking. But he deserved much better. If Jen merely went away and balled the casino manager, she is a little slut who will probably always feel guilty about George's death. If she was drugged to where she really had no control of her actions and really has no memory of what happened, she is to be pitied.
Fascinating case.
