Perhaps I will pick up a PC copy of the game as the 360 version only received an 8.5. When Oblivion came out I picked up the 360 version, but was disappointed compared to Morrowind which I picked up for the PC. PC version always pwns, just based on user created addons.

Picked up Dragon Age the other day. I'm loving every bit of it. I got past the introductory stage that starts the main story, and got to the part where you have to go to each of the 4 places to advance the quest (a Bioware staple). Engaging story, excellent gameplay.

Actually as of right now, I know nothing of any special BF bundles. We usually don't run those kinds of things for new systems, only pre-owned. But even that, I haven't heard of any bundles for pre-owned either.

I have been playing Fallout 3, and I have found that one of the expansion packs, is full of Steeler fans to kill. Point Look is full of them, and I think of the Steelers everytime, one of the inhabitants comes charging at me.

Cool to see some MMORP people. I played EQ2 till level 61. Then a baby and life took all my free time away. Recently the little one has started to give me more free time, so I am giving WoW a shot for a bit.

Favorite game I played this year was: Plants verse Zombies.

I got my wife a Wii for X-Mas so maybe I'll get some more time again.

My buddy got it and it's hard as shit for two people or more. Once you get to 3 or more the screen gets so wide it's hard to see if you don't have a big TV. Still the same old awesome Mario game though.

Not much they had to improve on, just tons of little things you'll notice during the game, guys ducking when an error flies in the dugout, etc. Seems like the physics have been tweaked as sometimes if you field the ball at a weird angle you take a long time to adjust your body and then throw. Used to be tons of up-the-middle singles in 09 but now the pitcher gets hit A LOT. Nothing usually happens to him though; I saw one get hit in the face and he didn't even fall down, let alone come out of the game. Seems to be more announcing errors too, but the strengths far outweigh these tiny problems.


T-minus 1 week for God of War 3. I bought my PS3 2 years ago with this game in mind.

Rome: Total War with both expansions. Thank you torrents, how I love getting things for free. I was going to go with Medieval 2 but I like the Roman time peroid more. Really fun game the battles are pretty realistic. If you get over aggressive, you'll have your flanks crushed by calvary. Urban Cohorts, Praetorian Calvary, and Onagers FTW.

I've been getting more mileage out of my PS3 lately. Used to be I only used it for playing Blu-ray videos and the 360 was the serious gaming console. The version of Fallout 3 for the PS3 was pretty buggy and some of the DLC was almost unplayable.

Since I started Netflix this week, it looks like the PS3 will stay at center stage on the 61" Sammy. I have many more titles for the 360 but with Microsoft wanting 50 bucks a year to get Netflix service, the 360 goes to the den and anything new will be PS3 platform.


I finished the last DLC for Assassin's Creed 2 on the PS3 yesterday. Seems kind of petty to release a game with shit missing and then charge you extra to get it back. The first DLC (Battle Of Forli) was a waste but the second one (Bonfire Of The Vanities) was OK.

I've been playing MLB 10 The Show. I started a franchise with the Tribe. I'm 6-16 so far. I've been playing like 1 or 2 games a series and simming the others.

Masterson has been my best SP so far. 2-0 with a 3.00 ERA.

Quick Update:

First, Mass Effect 2 is light years ahead of Mass Effect 1. I've been playing it nearly nonstop for a month now. The story is great, good characters you actually care about and the gameplay/battle is much better.

When I'm not playing that I'm playing through Borderlands. Pretty fun. Lots of different weapons. Cool if you play with others online since it's practically built with multiplayer in mind.

Beat Mass Effect 2 in the first week I got it when it came out.. Did it on Insanity difficulty. The commercials for the game are cheesy but, the game itself really immerses you in the scifi- 'future'.. Modern Warfare 2 is alright.. too many bugs, Battlefield Bad Company 2 is the best fps out right now. I like to play counterstrike source mostly in my free time still.

Infinity Ward had all of the money in the world to make MWII and fucking choked hard core.

I gave it a solid month to see if it grew on me and just had to quit out of sheer disgust.

The glitches, the maps, the camping, it is all gross.

I'm no Halo fan, but comparing it's perfection (from a build standpoint) to the pile of shit Infinity Ward dumped on us w/ MWII is a joke.

I like the more realistic shooters, CoD4 was pretty much as good as it got. MW2 just shit all over that by allowing people to dual wield weapons. I quit playing because anytime you walk into a building some dumbass with 2 double barrel shotguns blasts you without aiming.

For what it's worth, you only have to execute people in a couple game modes now (execution and annex, I think). In all the others, if you unload a full clip in someone, they're dead.
