Pretty self-explanatory: safely vent about your boss from behind the safe confines of web anonymity. Not safe for work, but very therapeutic at home!

Without going into great detail because I work in the public sector, my boss just recently hired his third high school football buddy since he took over, and he spends his days holed up in his office with these buddies, occasionally poking his head out long enough to remind the rest of us lowlifes that we are horrible employees who can be easily replaced by more football buddies with the same qualifications as us.

Today my boss cut my pay an additional 2% after 3 years of no raises, and my health insurance will increase significantly. And they laid off over 170 fellow employees, so there are less people to do the same job.

I have no complaints about my boss. I was brought in to head a purchasing department that didn't exist before. So basically things are done the way I see is best for the organization and am offered little to no resistence from the higher ups. No corporate standards to follow, I get to create the standards.

Can I gum up the "my boss is an idiot" thread with the fact that my boss is awesome. He lets you get your work done, always there for questions or guidance, when I do use his assistance he is always patient. So I suppose all bosses arent bad. In fact my boss is coming out to ski in a few weeks and my wife and I are going to go up and ski with his family. After having a few bosses that sucked, it is nice to have one that there is nothing to bitch about.

I've been out of work for awhile now, and I've got to say I don't miss my bosses 1 friggin bit.

Ego manics they were, with heads so big and fat, smaller fat-headed buddies of theirs would orbit around them....

The constant hissing of "Yesssssssssss, yessssssss your ssssso ssssmart and Yessssssss Yesssssssssss I am!" would drown out the loudest of shop noise.

Hell, you know, They could have built a better world in 6 days, and not needed to rest on the 7th.

US Bank, but it is a small business unit with in the corporate trust division. Thankfully since they acquired us about 10 years ago we arent fully integrated and dont have to deal with a lot of the big company BS.
