That's all you got? Brian Billick? Really? No Churchill, Patton, McArthur? No Lombardi? Woody?
Rolling out giving Jobu the double rods salute and all you got as a defense is Brian Fucking Billick?

Why else would he be so happy go lucky all the time? Dude does not reside in the space-time continuum, but rather stands astride the sands of time themselves and already has seen the multitude of titles yet to come.

But I'll believe it when I'm at the rally listening to Delonte at the dais spouting God-knows-what.
I do know that we have a hell of a team. And we have as good a shot as we've ever had.
It's just hard to even imagine a Cleveland Championship, let alone expect one.
I'm down for the ride, though, that's fer sure.

We can't be consumed by our petty differences any more. We will be united in our common interest. Perhaps it's fate that today is the 14th of June, and you will once again be fighting for our freedom. Not from tyranny, oppression, or persecution, but from annihilation. We're fighting for our right to live, to exist and should we win the day, the 14th of June will no longer be known as a day we choked, but as the day when Cleveland declared in one voice, 'We will not go quietly into the night! We will not vanish without a fight! We're going to live on, we're going to survive.' Today we celebrate our Championship!"

God help me for paraphrasing Eric Kuselias, but I'm going to do that with a saying he rolled out this morning on "Mike and Mike:"
"If you've got a girl in your crib and Barry White on the stereo, and you don't get any... it isn't Barry White's fault."

Emphasis is mine. Right now, the Cavs look untouchable. Right now isn't the playoffs. D's definition as "winning an NBA Championship is harder than most think" makes it the best answer to the question. An NBA Championship is incredibly difficult. A million things can go wrong. For all the champs the league has had, there's at least three other teams that season who were convinced that it was their year.
To say there's no chance is even worse than to assume it's a inevitability. There is no destiny, for good or bad. There is only a lot of hard work, a little bit of luck, and a lot more hard work, spread over the process of months, weeks, days, and even minutes and individual possessions on the court. Do I think this team has the necessary talent and focus to win it all? Absolutely. But winning an NBA Championship is harder than most think.

But I think in basketball especially the team that has shown itself to be the best throughout the regular season very often wins the title.
LA last year, Boston a year prior, San An all those times. They were undoubtedly the best in the league.
In baseball the playoffs are almost a lottery, anything really can happen.
You can win 120 games a season and still not come close to the Championship (see Seattle Mariners 2001 and ok it was 116 wins not 120 before anyone splits hairs)
in basketball when you're better than the opposing team 95% of the time you will win. Especially come playoff time, although there are the occasional aberrations like Golden State
