Definitely. I can't imagine not winning a championship this year would be any more or less disappointing depending on how confident I felt about our chances from now until the season ends however it's going to end.

In the meantime, it feels much better for sure knowing that we've got at least as good a chance as ever in my lifetime at winning it all than it does worrying about how and why it might not happen (again) this year. Enjoy the ride!

Exactly. The best team usually wins. Those Warriors had the best player on the floor, by far the superior bench and just as much big-game experience. You win a series 4-0, even as close as those games were, you're the better team. You look at the other "big upset" of that era, the Blazers over the Sixers in '77, it was the same way. Portland was just better than Philadelphia.

Not many true upsets in this game. Either the supposedly inferior team isn't, or at the very least it has significant and concrete match-up advantages, example of the latter being the 40-42 Rockets team that knocked off the Showtime Lakers in the '81 miniseries b/c they controlled the tempo w/Moses Malone, who Kareem couldn't check.
