Great recipes from not the most manly source

Unread postby Ziner » Tue Jan 12, 2010 2:59 pm

So lately the wife has bombarding me with recipes from this website and they have all been fantastic. Figured I would pass it along and take the ribbing involved with posting a website called http://www.thepioneerwoman.com. Some are healthy, some not so much. She likes heavy cream and butter, but all in moderation right?

Just made the Chicken Chili this weekend, it was awesome, could use some more spice, but very hearty and tasty. Used 2% milk instead of whole, turned out perfectly fine.

This casserole is awesome, Chicken Spaghetti

Damn good French onion soup

Best Mac and Cheese I have had, not the healthiest, the best.

First attempt at making a Vodka sauce I followed this, it turned out great

p.s. her Bolognese is delicious too

My next try is going to be this one, looks awesome

Dude, that last recipe for the meat sammiches looks incredible. And cheap, and we always have everything except the cube steak in our kitchen. I'll make that for the Super Bowl for sure.
