The B Spot

Anyone else been here yet?

Went the other day for the 4th time since they opened and I'm addicted...

Symon's most economical joint yet over on Chagrin...

Awesome burgers (the Yo! & Red Hot rocks), "The" Lola Fries, plenty of other great sides, brats & a huuuge selection of crazy beers...Not too mention the shakes use Mitchell's ice cream :thumb up:

Some nice touches are the relish bar in the middle of the restaurant that you can keep going back to and all the homemade sauces sitting right at your table...Cool friggin' beer can collection on the wall as well (brings back memories)...

Only complaint is the one combo-sex john...Damn, chicks take forever in there

Never been able to find the B-Spot. Still not entirely convinced it exists.

Chagrin Road is confusing to me with all the new stuff built up there.

I'll try not drinking as much beforehand the next time I try and find it.

It's not even that. My wife flat out told me where it was the one night. I still couldn't find it.

I'd suggest that at that point my wife find it herself or seek the help of one of her fellow PTA mothers who have been there to assist.

All of the good posts have been in this forum recently.

I definitely want to hit this place up in the near future. That and the one out in Avon.

I'm sure it's great, but I'm still bitter that the one at the Q knocked our the formidable Panini's/DiGiorno Stand 1-2 punch near my section. I think they could have coexisted.

Hit up the B Spot today for lunch and it was an excellent meal. I started out with the Chocolate Banana Marshmello milk shake. It was excellent and it was a lot of milkshake. My wife got the chocolate milkshake with Kahlua added and it too was great.

As for the burgers, I got the Lola Burger with fried egg, cheese, bacon, and picked red onions. It was a superb burger and although I hate onions, the picked onions took the burger to another level. My wife got the special burger of the day, the pepperoni pizza burger. Fried pepperoni, cheese, marinara sauce, and banana peppers all on the burger. It too was very good. We split an order of onion rings and it was plenty. The onion rings were covered with a nice flavorful batter and cooked to a toasty brown. They were the best onion rings I have had in quite some time.

All in all, it was a great meal and the restaurant was really cool. I enjoyed having 6 sauces (Lola Ketchup, reg. ketchup, stadium mustard, coffee bar-b-que, shasha, and vingarette steak) on the table. Service was decent and I would definitely go back. Only downside was the cost, 2 burgers, 2 shakes, 1 onion rings was $35.

Finally got there Sunday for lunch. had the fat doug.

Wow.

If MS took this out as a chain it could do for the hamguger what Chipotle did for the burrito. Not fancy, limited menu, but takes an old standby fav to a completely new level. Just more traditional service. But maybe the best part was the sauces and trying them on every bite.

And the shakes live up to their names.

Get there.

Apparently their food is good for you.

Shaq was in there the other night and left a friend of mine a $40 tip on a burger and o-rings. And he's lost a lot of weight!

Stopped here for lunch again today and had the Philly Witt burger which had flipsteak, Cheezewhiz (yep) & onions on the patty...

Also had the Chocolate Expresso shake for the first time...

Try It!

PS don't forget to go to the relish bar in the middle of the restaurant, the homemade garlic pickles are incredible
