I'll take Arizona today.

And I'll make Charlie Frye my new best friend for awhile.

I still have the Saints left. The Saints are really good. They are playing Tampa Bay. Tampa Bay is lousy.

So I will pick the Saints this week.

The week 14 pick from Korey came in after the deadline; 45 mins late.
The pick was a winner.
We can let him remain in the pool if all five others agree unanimously.

FOR: It was probably just an oversight; he wasn't trying to gain an advantage.
AGAINST: The rules are explicit. Picks must be in by noon on Sunday. No one has had a problem getting picks in on time, especially this late in the season. I have let people submit via e-mail or phone if there's been a computer problem. Changing the rules this late in the season can be dicey.

C Ball, Matt, Welch, Tucker, Greg....weigh in on this please. You can PM if you wish.

Also, you can PM your Week 17 picks and I will post all at noon.

See numbers 8 and 9

2009 RULES
NFL SURVIVOR
1. There is a $50 entry fee, payable before any picks are made.
Winner takes all.
2. You must pick one NFL team each week and it must win outright (tie games lose). No
pointspreads are involved.
3. You may take any one particular NFL team only once during the entire season.
4. When you lose, you are eliminated. The last player remaining wins.
5. If in any given week all remaining contestants (two or more) get
eliminated, those contestants have no choice but to continue, still unable to choose a team
previously chosen, until one winner remains.
6. If after the last NFL regular season week there is more than one
contestant still alive, those contestants split the kitty equally.
7. All games played during the weekend (Thursday through Monday), are considered equal. In
other words, a player eliminated on Thanksgiving Thursday does not
lose to a player eliminated four days later on Monday night.
8. To make a selection, you must submit a pick in this thread by noon each Sunday. If there are Thursday or Saturday games
where you want to pick a team, you must submit your selection before kickoff.
9. If you fail to post by noon Sunday you will be automatically be given a default pick. The default selection will be the Monday Night game underdog. If there is more than one game on Monday, the default pick will be the largest dog that night. If you have already used the deafult team, then you will be eliminated.
10. Selections will be available on the website for all to view. Once we get down to a few teams, you will be able to post your pick privately. More on this later.
11. If you have any questions about your status you may call or e-mail address and we will get back to you.[/quote]

Don't know what was more surprising; that five went through unscathed or that Action Boy wasn't one of them.
Five way split. Next year, maybe a tiebreaker?
