Can't disagree with Pitchfork on this:

Some of my personal favorites you may have missed (not including anything that was popular):

Some of my favorites...

Personally, I think Outkast fell off a cliff after Aquemini. I haven't liked anything they've done this decade.

Officially an oldster. I haven't heard of a single song on this best of the decade list.
Last new artist I was jazzed about was Nirvana.

Carry on kids.

Far be it from me to dispute the greatness of Radiohead. Although I do think they've lost a couple of miles off their fastball.

I think In Rainbows is their best album and has 3 of their best ever songs

If they lost a few MPH off their fastball then they've added a curveball, changeup, and the most devastating slider in the history of music. I love Radiohead.

I've often found that it sometimes takes years for me to appreciate a new Radiohead release. I don't know why. It may be because I have a hard time NOT listening to the stuff I already know. But, I loved In Rainbows from the first.

That being said, my first thought when I saw Keane was that it must be a cover. I listened to it. It's pretty freakin' good too.

I've seen them twice now. This year at Reading being the best performance by a group of musicians I've ever seen.

There was a technical delay with the lighting equipment, everyone was getting restless, then they came on and strummed the opening of Creep (which they rarely ever play) the reception was raucous to say the least.

Thom Yorke's brother's band is pretty good too

Unbelievable Truth
I think they recently reformed as well

Best song of the decade? No question.

Runner up.
