Why do you think they are a lock? I think both QB's offset each other....Oregon and Ohio State will crowd the box and not be overly concerned with 2 QB's who are below average passers. If Ohio State allows Pryor to use his athletic ability in the open field then I would tend to agree that OSU can open a 'can' on Oregon. I just haven't seen that happen and will Tressel open up the playbook to spread the field and use Pryor's running skills?

Oregon has seen the straight ahead running game all year long....I recall Ohio State having trouble with a somewhat similar offense in Navy. Oregon runs a lot of misdirection plays that go for big yards, because defenses lack the discipline of assignment football. I am not a fan of OSU's D-coordinator. I never see any halftime adjustments made by that group and we have seen what has happened the last few years. Has Heacock learned anything from the opening game against Navy.

I actually like OSU, but I am very wary of the conservative game plan and lack of defensive adjustments that Heacock makes.

I just think Oregon is going to be completely unable to deal with the Buckeyes three headed rushing attack. Had a chance to watch their last two games in entirety. Their defense is total garbage. Pac 10 is a soft finesse conference this year. Little backs, wide open attacks. I feel the conference is going to be exposed badly this bowl season, and last night was exhibit A against a tough minded BYU team that made Oregon State quit by the end of the 1Q.

I also think Pryor's been hurt for most of this season, and maybe no player this bowl season will be better helped by a 5 week layoff. Not only to heal and rest, but also to be able to become one with the offensive gameplan going into this one.

Wrong team is favored in this one. Buckeyes get the bowl monkey off their back. 31-17.

Annually one of his most melancholy days of the year.

In any event, LP fans, and gambling fans in general realize how rock solid the Troy Trojans have been the last three seasons. They have provided many a lay-up for the sharps out there. However, tonight we are going to look at the total. Troy games live in the 60's and above. They have a poor pass defense, and are up against a squad with several 4 year starters at the passing skill positions. LP looks for this tilt to SOAR over the total.

LP is undefeated (4-0) in bowl sides, however, he tanked his only total wager of the bowl season - wager at your own risk.

Thanks for the heads up LP! I had a few dollars on Troy +3.5, but when I saw your post, I added an Over bet and a Troy/Over parlay.
