I will seek vengeance upon those who have betrayed my family. Only to uncover a conspiracy bigger than I could have imagined.

Tonight, I am Ezio Auditore da Firenze

Tonight, I am... an assassin.

Hopefully it's better than the first one. It was a cool concept, but my God, did it get repetitive. The best part of it was just running around killing all the beggers. From what I've heard there's a lot more things to do in this one, though. It's more of an open world environment with plenty of side missions.

I'm not a huge video game guy but the previews for this game look unreal.
I'd like to know if it's as good as the hype.
They were pimping this game up big time during the UFC a few days ago.

And proud of it.

Here's a video of Assassin's Creed II's best kills...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=efvQV1Cd-Po

Now here's a video of a [boring] battle in WoW... (and btw, this was the only video of a battle that I could find with a decent song. yes, the song in this video is lightyears better than the songs i've heard on previous videos i've tried to find. most of them being techno/stupid/a combination of both. and ftr, i couldn't find a video w/o music.)

Oh yea, and here are a few photos of AC/ACII's executive producer...

Assassin's Creed wins.

That chick is hawt blah blah... Tell me when it has has sold 11 million copies let alone paid subs...

Now that I have gotten that nerd rage outta the way how is it compared to the first game. AC seemed short and repetative, any changes?

Oh, and that chick is hawt!

The game kicks ass.

Definitely not as repetitive as the first one. The storyline is great. The puzzles are great. The fighting is great. The upgrading is great.

Not fair to use that WoW video; this one perfectly encapsulates how awesome the game is:

I think i'm going to break down and buy a PS3 soon, as in this weekend. An early xmas gift to myself and also for my wife as she wants a Blue-Ray DVD player.
This will be my game of choice until May 25th of 2010 when the new UFC game comes out.

It's an awesome game. Action-adventure with many aspects of RPG.

I recommend you play through the first one first.

Just curious as to why I should play thru the first one?
How does I stack up against II?

Thanks.

Its developers are planning to make a third one to make a full trilogy. It's like watching a film trilogy, and naturally with that, you gotta start with the first.

Personally, I liked the first one alot. It's main issue is its repetitiveness, but the storyline and ending (to me) is worth it. The second one is 10x better than the first. Alot of elements of RPG; building your arsenal, armor, and even investing in various shops so that you have a constant income coming in. It isn't repetitive anymore (well at least not nearly as much as the first) and the storyline and ending is grand.

My recommendation, if you want to just fly through the first to get it over with, don't even bother finding the "flags" and any other side missions. Simply worry about the ones that advance the story.

I'm taking your advice.
I'll get the first one and play it and then the second one will be my xmas gift to myself.
Thanks again bro.
Today is the day of purchase.

Buy preowned at Gamestop... that way if you beat it before January 15th, you can return it for full price and then get AC2.

Buying used for sure, Gamestop is calling me.
I'm buying both.
Santa will bring me II next week.

I envy you.

You ever wish those memory erasers from Men in Black really existed? That way I can experience certain things for the first time again; like AC2 and Lost.

OT: You got a pretty nice Kill/Death ratio in MW2 there, AccioVictory.
