Hopefully it's better than the first one. It was a cool concept, but my God, did it get repetitive. The best part of it was just running around killing all the beggers. From what I've heard there's a lot more things to do in this one, though. It's more of an open world environment with plenty of side missions.

I'd like to know if it's as good as the hype.
They were pimping this game up big time during the UFC a few days ago.

Now that I have gotten that nerd rage outta the way how is it compared to the first game. AC seemed short and repetative, any changes?

The game kicks ass.

Definitely not as repetitive as the first one. The storyline is great. The puzzles are great. The fighting is great. The upgrading is great.

I think i'm going to break down and buy a PS3 soon, as in this weekend. An early xmas gift to myself and also for my wife as she wants a Blue-Ray DVD player.
This will be my game of choice until May 25th of 2010 when the new UFC game comes out.

It's an awesome game. Action-adventure with many aspects of RPG.

I recommend you play through the first one first.

Its developers are planning to make a third one to make a full trilogy. It's like watching a film trilogy, and naturally with that, you gotta start with the first.

Personally, I liked the first one alot. It's main issue is its repetitiveness, but the storyline and ending (to me) is worth it. The second one is 10x better than the first. Alot of elements of RPG; building your arsenal, armor, and even investing in various shops so that you have a constant income coming in. It isn't repetitive anymore (well at least not nearly as much as the first) and the storyline and ending is grand.

My recommendation, if you want to just fly through the first to get it over with, don't even bother finding the "flags" and any other side missions. Simply worry about the ones that advance the story.
