Only doing one league w/ some tight peeps this year. In person auction was last night and missing on agent zero by two bucks late really hurts my feelings on me team. That said my front line and upside is huge, but there are a few teams that I like a lot better at this point.

Jumping the gun early on Tyreke Evans for $3 when Eric Gordan was taken real real late for $4 was like a swift kick to the balls. As was jumping on Augustine on the cheap for a pure keeper play (same thing Evans was) and losing out on a CHEAP agent zero to my boy w/ a $2 higher max bid at that point was crushing. I almost hit on my entire big five w/ AI, Crash, Scola, Big Al and missed the last effing piece in Zero. Still pissed. That said trades will be coming as there are a lot of unbalanced teams out there (like me w/ out Agent Zero).

Start C, C, PF, SF, PF/SF Flex, SG, PG, SG/PG Flex, Gen Flex - 4 person bench
8 categories (no stupid ass turnovers), tie break = points + boards + dimes, winner take all weekly (no split scoring) H2H

C - Biedrens
C - Hibbert

PF/C - Big Al
PF/C - K Love

PF - Scola

PF/SF - G Wallace
PF/SF - J Green

SF/SG - Iggy

SG - Vinsanity

PG/SG - Tryeke Evans

PG - Rus Westbrook
PG - DJ Augustine

So yeah, could really us a PG and have the depth in the front court to pull it in. Until then K-Love is going on the IR and a waiver wire (still plenty of depth) PG is coming in (along w/ Iggy playing SG almost exclusively) and I am going to kill people on the boards, blocks, D end of things by going big at the general flex.

How many teams in the league? In a 12 team league, that's a helluva team - 10 team, just so-so.

Very well-rounded team, with plenty of versatility in there. Not one player that made me go "ugh".

About all those regrets - last year my comp froze on me for a minute during the draft and it autopicked Devin Harris for me. You would not believe how pissed I was. Obviously worked out well for me, and I ended up winning the league.

Yeah, 10 team league. 3 player 3 year keeper, hence the Utes.

And yeah, I am so so on the team right now, one back-court player away from being very happy w/ it, but so goes the brutality of the 5 hour auction. Going to need a few breaks to win the league, but it's hoops and breaks are pretty damn standard.

Clearly 2 teams that are the pre-season class of the league at the moment, I'm in the next tier down (which is large).

Pairing up K-Love and Al doesnt worry you at all? I never like having a team's full frontcourt or backcourt. Maybe you can wait til he gets back and trade him for a solid PG?

Meh, K-love is only above Hibbert in my front court pecking order and an upside guy. And w/ Green and Wallace I have a ton of options (too many potentially) at the 4.

Absolutely potential trade bait down the line as well.

For $2 I'll roll the dice. If he goes animal hello keeper. Plus I think w/ Big Al back K-Love is actually going to get to work on his perimeter game this year, something that he lacked the chance to do last year post Big Al.

And Big Al is Big Al, I love him, a lot.

I payed $60 for Big Al in a $200 cap, overpaid by about $10 bones from what my personal cap was but got into a heated war w/ one of my peeps. Another reason I missed out on Zero (I am going to bitch about this for ages).

BTW: Raja Bell probably out for the season, Augustine now starting and we all know what happened last year.... woot... woot, just made me so happy it hurts.

That said, hitting up LBJ as rookie at #7 was pure brilliance.

I just put a bid in for CDR to replace Love who is on my IR. Really hoping he busts out this year, guy has been filthy in the preseason and I have always loved his old skool style.

That said our FA system is a $60 cap weekly silent bid system, so who knows if I'll land him.

Fucking injuries are killing me. Josh Howard has now cost me 2 straight weeks in a daily roster league and I had to drop Blake Griffin because we only have 2 bench spots, I'm sure as hell not dropping Josh but it hurts not having a full squad and esp a guy like that; other league is weekly roster change but only 5 guys per week, so of course Devin Harris is not listed as out until after I set my lineup this week and now Kevin Martin is out 6 weeks.

Yeah, I don't like the rules you are stuck adhering to aoxo.

That said, I do not even want to get into the CDR T-Will saga I have been through.

We have a $60 FA auction system, I'm 11 dollars in and beyond $1 for Flynn the rest has been switching between those two. I finally settled on CDR and he comes down w/ the swine flu. Christ almighty.

Vince being out this week and CDR being sick is going to cost me the week. Even if Crash is averaging 20 boards a game, Hibbert for $1 is the smartest draft pick ever, Flynn and Tyreke are getting it together, etc.

Crash shooting 25% from the field is also not helping me.

Feh.

Either way, my team is built for the future. Going to have sick keepers.

I drafted Hibbert with my final pick - dropped him after he averaged 7 and 7.5 his 1st 2 games for Mareese Speights . Its been only double doubles since. Fuck.

Lost Kevin Martin and Tyrus Thomas to major injuries, still no sign of Pau. Barbosa has missed time too, and now Eric Gordon is hurt. Fuck.

Big Al, Scola, and Augustin have sucked balls. Fuck.

About the only thing that was going right for me was Jeff Green, but he's totalled 15 points in the last 2 games.

Fuck this NBA season.

Scola has been avg around 15 and 10 since his crappy first game, which makes me plenty happy.

Big Al is my big issue. Real pleased w/ the OKC kids, Westbrook and Green.

Lot of hoops left though. Already missed huge w/ Kamen and Marc Gasol on the waiver wire.

PS: Hibbert has also been over four blocks each game his last few.

Picked up Speights a couple days ago to win points and rebounds for the week, figuring he would be one of the half dozen or so guys I'll cycle through my last couple roster spots every week (limit 6 roster moves per week so damn right I'm making 6 a week)... the way he is playing, I don't think I can drop him. 20/8/1 tonight with .615/.800.

Fucking Hickson. Remember watching that draft and thinking we would get either Speights or Hibbert... how nice would either of those guys have looked had they fallen another couple spots? Hell, Ryan Anderson would be spec-effin-tacular on this team.

Speights is going to be annoying to hold on to until the Sixers smarten up and start playing Brand at the 5, as until then he is going to give you huge nights against the Channing Frye's of the world because Brand cannot play more than 20 min against them on D and nothing against any true post player.

That said, I have officially reached Don Nelson can burn in Hades status.

Most frustrating coach in any sport ever. Guy makes Mangini look like a cute little puppy. That team has so much fantasy potential it is sick but it is impossible to hold anyone aside from Ellis, S-Jax, Curry, Beidrins (and my hate for Nelson is making me waiver) and the enigma that is Anthony Randolph.

I mean, fuck me, Anthony Randolph is playing center behind the corpse of Mikki Moore right now. What? Who? Why? How?

I only have one Nelson player on my team and refuse to take on any more.

Don Nelson is beyond drunk with power. If he was still in the frame of mind he had even a few years ago, GS would be an awesome team to watch and actually a threat. Now? Worthless. Total shame, too. Especially because they went all in on him this offseason when they fired the GM.

Jesus. Screwed for the 3rd week in a row on the 5 starter, weekly lineup change league. Had to move Rip Hamilton into the lineup as I have lost my top 2 guards, so of course he is out all week once lineups are set.

I think I'm starting to remember why I haven't played fantasy hoops in 4 years.

That said, the lineup manipulation is why we went to the $60 cap FA auction format. Minimizes roster manipulation gears solely toward maximizing games.

Any takes on Garnett? Thinking about making a move to get him. Dynasty league where he is way overpriced at this point, but not as overpriced as Elton Fucking Brand.

I just made a move for Speights instead of Dampier (would have lost the auction anyhow and had a feeling he was out of my price range). I now only have 2 centers and we start 2 centers. That said, it will only cost me 2 games over the next three weeks, in which time Speights may earn center eligibility and Dalembert may be sent out to pasture.

IOW: I handcuffed myself a bit w/ roster flexibility because of how not high I am on Brand and Dalembert right now. I mean I figured this week he would at least show some sign of life and start taking minutes back as recently as yesterday, but my lord it is just getting uglier.

That and I figure collecting talent to trade once K-Love gets back is more valuable than using the Dampier.

That said, I highly recommend you look at KG's game log and some of his FG% and point outputs. Gross. Boston fans make fun of him in our league chat room on a nightly basis re fantasy.

But he is better than Brand. The guy that has him simply cannot afford him (has a couple of guys coming off IR) and is looking to move him cheap.

Need some help. My team is decimated with injuries. Which of these guys do you think has the most trade value? I gotta pick up some healthy bodies (only have 1 IR spot). I'd like to package one of my injured guys with someone else for one or 2 healthy guys.
