Chad Dawson/Glen Johnson II Set

Good for Glen, one of the great guys in the sport. Deserves the rematch. No other fights out there for Bad Chad with Hopkins ducking him.

Big Johnson fan and hope he top Dawson this time.
Playing here is the closest thing to heaven. Really, I mean it's amazing to be in a place where the fans truly cherish their football team and stick behind them win or lose. We players love them, too. I feel a sense of accomplishment playing here, we are a special breed of football players with a great opportunity." ~ tOSU LB Brian Rolle

Johnson beat him the first time around and was robbed.
Dawson has improved since then and this is going to be a great fight.

Dawson is boring as hell. Glenn Johnson in his prime destroys him easily.

Dawson = The Black Calzaghe

Very skilled. Knows how to win fights. Doesn't hurt anyone and bores the living shit out of you though.

Would love to see him go down to 168 and take Taylor's place in the Super Six. Body type looks like he could fight super middle, and he punches would carry a little more wallop at that weight.

Don't see him doing it though. HBO has paid him a lot of $$$ and jumping to Showtime would be a knife in their back. So he'll stay at HBO and just keep beating bums by unanimous decision.

OTOH, it also wouldn't surprise me if HBO lowered what they pay him per fight. I can't imagine his fights draw huge #'s ... and even if they are now, will they going forward? Especially his next one against the winner of Pascal and whatever stiff he's fighting.

Just amazing how bad boxing is above 168 pounds right now. So good below it though. Strange dynamic.

Well, at least Dawson actually fought Johnson, Calzaghe pulled out of three fights with him. Wouldn't be surprised to see Joe come out of retirement and finally take that fight, that's his style. Dawson is just a flat out bore-fest, puts me to sleep every time.
