Only know of one of his songs, "People Who Died" but was a favorite. A little after the song had run its course on radio in 1981 or 1982 I took took my kid brother to the movie ET (movie was OK) and right in the middle of the movie in the background the song was playing on the radio. We kind of had a litltle chuckle over that.
"They were all my friends and they died. "I guess now it's his turn...

Wasn't it his 'Basketball Diaries' that launched Leo DiCaprio as well? Not a bad flick. Never read the book which had to be better.

Yes, never read the book or saw the movie but he is(was) one and the same.

The flick in no way did a lick of justice to the book. None. And I like Leo ( Gilbert Grape launched him tho ) .
Raise you bottle of codiene cough syrup and take a slug for Jimmy.
What would his couplet be if you added to his song?

As JB said, Gilbert Grape launched Leo, I think, and I don't know if this is a good thing, BD launched Marky Mark as an actor.
Galley Boys are slop on top of a so-so burger and a bun you coulde get from a Covneninet food mart generic pack. They the Antoine Joubert of burgers; soft, sloppy, oozing grease and cheap sauce and extremely overrated by a biased fan base. Proof that if you throw enough cheap sauce shit on a burger you still can't overcome the lame burger. -JB

Gotta give props to Carroll. 60 years old and still capable of playing all over the field?
Oh a different Jim Carroll?
