Studs and Duds

I am suffering some serious anxiety as I always do right before the start of Fantasy Baseball season. There are a lot of new faces this year and some guys at new positions and on new teams.

These are my main concerns...

Jason Bay 30-30? I hope.
Can Ensberg put up numbers like he did in 2005?
Can Griffey, Kel. Escobar, and M. Giles stay healthy?

So, who do you guys thinks will be studs and duds?

Dude, Jason Bay is a top 10 player, not just in the NL but all of baseball. The 30 steals may be a stretch, but his power #'s will increase and so should his RBI oppurtunities. He is a keeper in 2 of my leagues and seeing as I'm usually atop the standings each year you must trust my evaluation on this guy. He is entering his "prime" baseball years and it should only get better for years to come.

Take him...you wont be disappointed...trust me

I already got him last night. I had the 6th pick in a 9 team 5x5 league and got him in the 2nd round (14th pick overall). I was thrilled to get him there because I have seen him at the top of most expert drafts and rankings.

Heh heh heh...I don't mind booting one category in order to secure 4.

I expect to finish one or two in Runs, RBIs, HRs, and OBP with the likes of Vlad, Tex, and Bay. Adding Holliday, Gomes, and Lopez might just give me six players who will hit 30+ HRs. 200 HRs last year was good for 11 points.

Also remember the trade front. I do have Vlad for a reason.

At least saves is the only category I REALLY need to worry about.


Suffice to say to the original post, though I don't see Bay stealing himself 30 bases, he should reach 30+ HRs really easily.
