Back in the days of regular Put In Bay trips, Pup's way of rationalizing Percolator-esque rendesvous was by going the "slumpbuster" route. We were all big softball players. Funny thing about Pup was, he wasn't going through 1-20, or even 1-10 spells. He'd rationalize like 3-5 slumps as reasons. Maybe one of the three hits wasn't hit hard.
