Peanuts in the shell

Anybody here eat the whole salted peanut...shell and all?

It's so good, but don't eat too many.

Not for me.
I once read that fat people will not eat peanuts because it is too much work to get to the peanut.

I thought I was the only one. Horrifies people when they see you pop the whole damn thing in your mouth.

Very good though. Eating em the ole fashioned way is just too much god damn work. If there was chocolate, something that gave me a buzz inside ... maybe.

I don't eat the shell, from time to time I chew on it for awhile, then discard it. I only eat in the shell peanuts, I love the ones that are over roasted and dark.

Does the next moring suck after eating those shells?

Never had a problem expelling the goods the next day.....Of course I come from strong eastern erupoean stock.

Anybody like the southern style, boiled peanuts? I was afraid I'd find them disgusting but damn, they're excellent like that.

I do occasionaly. I also feed them to my dogs when they are having "issues". It plugs 'em right up.

If you have driven in the South, always can find a guy with some big old pots filled with boiled, seasoned, peanuts. Good stuff. :pop:
