We have been pimping the WEC for a long time.
This event is something you shouldn't miss.
Top 5 pound for pound fighter, Miguel Torres takes on #1 contender Brian Bowles.
If you have never seen Torres fight, you are missing out. He is unreal. So technically sound and well rounded. Amazing really.
Joseph Benavidez is a training partner of Urijah Faber and a future superstar.
Full fight card:
Champ Miguel Torres vs. Brian Bowles (for WEC bantamweight title)
Joseph Benavidez vs. Dominick Cruz
Danny Castillo vs. Ricardo Lamas
Jeff Curran vs. Takeya Mizugaki
Leonard Garcia vs. Jameel Massouh
Fredson Paixao vs. Cole Province
Marcus Hicks vs. Shane Roller
Phil Cardella vs. Ed Ratcliff

Mir always spoke about Torres like he was unbeatable. But if you watched any of his fights on mute, that would never occur to you. I was not surprised Bowles got him. Torres got overconfident and then sloppy when he thought he had Bowles hurt.
I was thrilled to see Leonard Garcia back on track. I really like that guy's attitude. Although I'm not a fan of too many of Greg Jackson's fighters, I love Garcia. He might be the only guy with power enough to beat MTB at featherweight.

Torres and sloppy don't usually go together but that's exactly what happened and he paid for it.
Garcia's fight was good, I actually had him losing 2 rounds to 1 but it was exciting.
