That Hossa deal is mind blowing. They had better win next year by outscoring everyone because there isnt much cash left to add depth to the blue line or make a change in goal. Plus, next summer a lot of the young talent in Chicago has expiring contracts..

It's a good point. They do have to dole out some serious cash in the near future. I think Patrick Sharp gets dealt at some point this offseason. He's the weak link of their forwards right now. But, if they get consistent play from Huet down the stretch and into the playoffs, this is the one team that can beat Detroit.

Sopel's another guy who might go. I think you'll see Chicago add a Jassen Cullimore back there with someone like Skrastins off the market. He's cheap and serviceable.
