A Y-town tip.

I peeped this place last Friday. Finally a big-city style quality beer pub, and a good wine selection for the ladies and Columbus residents as well. It is across the street from the Holiday Inn Boardman.

They added on a new bar that has about 6 craft taps for straters. Plus $ 1.69 for any craft 12 oz bottle.

Y town prices.

I'll probably end up in there during my long venture home for the Holidays (first time in 2 years). Going to be in town the 23rd (though probably staying in C-town for the night) through the 2nd. We should hit some beer up or you can continue to try and prove that Y-town has the best Pizza in Ohio.

My little bro is going to OSU these days. He's been handed at least 20 gay guys phone numbers since moving down there last fall.

Thanks for the tip JB. I'll try and get over there, assuming 224 isn't being prepped for an invasion, or under quarantine because they hit another gas line (Yep, got caught in that wonderful hell last week. Turned a 7-minute drive into an hour).

While 224 needs upgrades, there just never is a good time to do it. But I know traffic will move better when they're done.

Of course, I'm old enough to remember when 224 was expanded to a four-lane road and there wasn't much on it between the mall and I-680 except McDonalds, K-mart and Value King.

I'm half tempted to drive around YTown in hopes to randomly run into you, just to find out how old you really are.

Fo Shizzle.

Spending the evening about ten minutes from there and demanding my ride home from the airport takes me to melt for a late lunch on the way home. Somehow I ended up flying into Canton Akron late morning, getting picked up then shooting up to the West Side for the night.

I just might have to meet you then, 5 minute ride from my house.

Send me a note on when you get some more specifics.

just recently paid attention to the off topic forums, and wish i did earlier. i can contribute much more than in the sports forums haha.

vintage estates is one of my favorite places. i'm bummed i now live an hour away. when i lived in Niles, I was there constantly. it's a beer nerd heaven. woulda been nice to have grabbed a beer with some from the forum. i think the combo of this place and UPie had a lot to do with my lack of concentration when i was at YSU haha.

will be home next weekend for the mother's birthday and this is a must stop on the trip.
