Finally.

Most anticipated heavyweight fight since Tyson/Lewis?

The Hayemaker is just giving Klitschko an extra 2 weeks alone with the belt

This fight is not happening

http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/boxing ... id=4235323

Klitschko to fight Ruslan Chagaev in a fight that may get picked up by ESPN.

Although the Haye fight had the potential to be wildly entertaining I didn't expect it to last more than three rounds with the Haye getting taken out early.

Chagaev will likely be less entertaining but more competitive, i.e. another boring decision for Klitschko...if this fight even comes off...Chagaev is no medical marvel either.

Would have loved to see Brian Minto get a honk, but whatever.

Until Chris Arreola gets it together, the only HW fight worth paying to watch is brother vs brother...and as I know from experience...that will be a real mess.

The Klitschkos will never fight so it messes up an already shitty division.
Haye would have given Wlad a run for his money with his strength and power.
I would have picked Haye to win.
This is just another kick in the balls to an already bad heavyweight division.

I'm well aware of the brothers Klitschko position on fighting each other, but if you wait long enough the worm will turn. I've always believed that once they got to a position where they could unify the division they would agree to fight each other for a boatload and then immediately retire to pursue their many and varied interests...they are pretty unique guys in the boxing world after all. We'll have to wait and see what happens with my theory as talk isn't cheap it's free and they can say whatever they need to say, until its time to do what brothers do. Trust me I know this is true as I had to get my 2 yr old stitched up this week from a gash my 5 yr old put on his forehead with one of those alphabet refridgerator magnets...

As far as Haye/Klitschko, good thing it ain't happening if you were layin down on Haye. Great strength and power...for a Cruiserweight...nothing to base it on as big boy though. Haye tries to punch with Klitschko and gets destroyed. End of story...goodnight moon.

I don't think your kids fighting compares to the top of the heavyweight division and pro boxing.

When was the last time Wlad was actually tested? I can't remember.
I think Haye would have least been in front of him throwing and landing some heavy shots, it's a shame we won't see it.
It would have been the biggest fight in the division that we have seen in a long time and boxing fans need it. That doesn't mean it would be a great fight but it sure was getting a lot of hype.

I think you missed the point Dr, and it's not a complicated one either. Brothers fight, thats just what they do, and I think the brothers Klitschko are going to do it one day on a big stage for all the marbles.

As I said in the previous post, I think Haye/Klitschko has the potential to be a slugfest...just can't see Haye winning. No doubt he'll fire big shots and go after Klitschko, but I see him getting in trouble by taking those big shots.

You are right about one thing though, Wlad hasn't had a stiff test in quite some time. That's a combination of a weak division and him getting the proper training from Manny Steward to utilize the size, strength and talent that he's been blessed with.

I got your point and like I said, it won't happen. I like to hope i'm wrong but don't think we'll ever see it.
It makes too much sense and would actually be exactly what boxing and the heavyweight division needs.

Yep, this fight would bring massive hype to the sport and a division that is just craving for something interesting to happen.

Next question is-IF the fight were to happen, who wins?
