Keeping with my trend of picking low key, low maintenance guys, I will go with Joe Dumars at the 2.

i need another banger, someone who can be a force defensively for my team. so i'm gonna take, from Akron, Ohio, Mr. Quadruple-double Nate "the great" Thurmond.

In 12 of Thurmond's 14 seasons, either Wilt Chamberlain, Bill Russell, or Kareem Abdul-Jabbar made First Team All-NBA at center. Thurmond averaged 15 rebounds per game throughout his career which is 5th on the all-time list. He was the first NBA player to record a quadruple-double. He is also one of three players to average 21 points and 22 rebounds per game over a two-year stretch (Chamberlain and Russell are obviously the other two). Thurmond didn't put up the awesome offensive numbers like some of the other greats but few were better defensively. He finished in the top ten of the MVP Voting three times including a second-place finish to Chamberlain in '67.

I need a banger too, especially since there isn't much physicality in my lineup as of now. So I'm going with Wes Unseld, the 6'7" power forward out of Louisville. Rookie of the Year and MVP in 1968-69. Averaged a double-double at 10.8 points and 14 rebounds per game, led the NBA in rebounding in 1974-75 and was the heart and soul of the only Championship team in the history of the Washington franchise. One of the roughest and toughest to ever play this game.

What an awful movie across the board. I usually have trouble getting through the part where Adrian trips out across Boston. I did forget SMG, but then, I neglected the two "assistant coaches" Rick Fox introduced Jesus to at "Big State." I may select John Turturro as my coach...he did great things at Big State.

And if I do say so myself it was sweet pick, maybe the pick of the draft.

Bernard King is without question one of the top scorers in NBA history, maybe only Jordan, Chamberlain could be said for certain to make it look easier, and considering I have Wilt I like my chances a lot. More complete offensive game than Dr. j and basically Jordan before Jordan. A shame that kid got hurt he could have been Jordan arch rival for years. Drive to the hoop on anyone and hit the 17-18 footers all day. 50 pts on any given night was a real possibility for Bernard, and he did it efficiently at 51%.
