I guess someone had to start this thread. Despite the hangover from last nights celebration, the beginning of the grilling/smoking season "officially" begins this weekend.
Very lucky that the local grocer here has all bone-in steaks at $3.99 per pound
Last night - smoked pork loins, grilled T-bones
Today - not sure, probably beer can chicken
Sunday - Smoked brisket and ribs
Monday - Check cholesterol, probably grilled bone-in ribeyes

Tonight i'm having the friends over, tomorrow we are going to my in-laws house.
Tonight
1.5'' Ribeye steaks marinated in worchestershire sauce, mashed garlic, red chili flakes, and onion salt/black pepper.
Bought some top pork Bratwurst from Weimer's Butcher shop
Baked Potato
Coleslaw
Mixed green salad
grilled veggies
Beer..... Lots of beer
Tomorrow
Othert than than the German potato salad and sourdough rolls my mom is making my in-laws are having typical Italian fare
Homemade meatballs (best i've ever had)
Grilled Calamari and Medium Anchovies
Pasta salad
roasted artichokes
mixed green salad
Tonight

hey guys....im making chicken tonight (on the grill) with the Quaker Steak and Lube Arizona Ranch wing sauce. I am using boneless chicken tenders instead of breasts, so that the chicken will absorb more marinade in each piece. There are two ways im thinking about doing this and i need your expertice....Do I .....
A.) marinade for 1.5 hours, then throw on he grill
B.)marinade for an hour, bake on 250 degrees for 45 minutes (or so), then throw on the grill

Go A.).....grill slowly.....eat with many beers....watch Cavs win

Dudes, I have been on vacation all week and have cooked out just about EVERY day. Memorial Day weekend is the unofficial kick off of summer. My favorite time of year.

Rib Cook-off earlier today (sunday) downtown. I'm still full and it's been 9 hours since I ate.

Think it was Saturday when we did fish. Grilled tilapia for the wife and it turned out perfect.
Tried to do cat fish on the grill but it wasn't quite right. I couldn't get the nice crispy skin like I could get in a pan.
Still eating leftover "potato" salad for lunch today. The german in me can not get enough of that stuff.

Croaker and Blue fish. Caught a bunch of undersized flounder, but none that made the 19" size minimum.
