2009 Masters Contest

Heres how it works. $5.25 gets you 1 golfer, or you can get 3 golfers for $10.50 (6 for $21 too). The loose change is to pay the 2.9% paypal fee. Golfers are blind draw, along with the participants name. Since I dont have time to cash 100 checks for $5-10 a piece, we're going to do this strictly via paypal. You can send the money to sizemore24@adelphia.net. When you send the money to my paypal, please make sure you PM me your name and email so I can get you on the list as paid. There are 96 golfers in this year's tournament. If for some reason we dont sell all 96 golfers, then we will take the top ranked golfers (however many slots we sell), and just sell "the field" as one of the golfers. Im sure we can fill all the slots since this is a pretty cheap pool. I will add an updated list to let everyone know when it fills, and when we draw names. Thanks guys, PM me with any questions.

Alright, here it is.....First off, please don't hate or think this contest is fixed because I landed Tiger. I had a feeling that this would happen. Kevin Consolo pulled the names and numbers and all i did was write down what he pulled out. Tiger was one of the last names in the hat when he was selected. Lady Luck sure hates me. First a few no-name golfers for my group (one of which I found out should actually have a name someday when he can buy alcohol). Then one of the ones I do recognize has to go and do something like this.

Ever since Sam Snead won the first Par-3 Contest in 1960, no winner has claimed a green jacket four days later.

Which means bad news for Tim Clark. The 2006 runner-up -- at the real tournament here, that is -- aced the final hole to shoot a 5-under 22, currently leading the field.

It said right here in the rules that this would happen if the pool didn't get filled up. Only 46 spots got filled so someone got lucky and got "the field".
