Fired up to get this rolling again this season. Should have a nice sized group this year. Have had a lot of people inquire about this already, as it was a popular pool last season.

As a reminder, the contest has three phases. Each one lasts about 50 days with a couple week break between phases. Make one pick a day, so 20 days you will pass. Have to pick each team in MLB to win one time, for a total of 30 picks.

Last year's winners ...

Phase I - Lead Pipe 21-9
Phase II - Lead Pipe 23-7
Phase III - Swerb 24-6

$30 to play, per phase. Also going to add a $30 aggregate buy in this year with those dollars going to the player with the most wins over the 90 games of the three phases.

Note - Sunday will not count. Just one game between the Braves and Phillies. Games will start with Monday's action.

RULES

Phase I will last 50 days. Starts on Monday, April 6. Last day of selections will be Monday, May 25th.

Pick one baseball team each night to simply win their game. You cannot pick the same team twice. And have to select all 30 teams in baseball one time.

Contest lasts for 50 days. So seeing as how you need to pick every team in baseball one time and one time only, there will be 20 days you don't pick a game. Use those PASS days wisely when there is no strong selection amonst the teams you have left to use. All picks must be time stamped, in this thread, no later than the official start time of the game per MLB.com or else the pick is thrown out. While you don't have to post your picks until the start time of the game you are selecting (example: can post a pick for a 10:05 PM EST game at 10:01) ... you cannot change a posted pick once the days first game is underway.

The winner is the person with the most total wins after the May 25 games end. Each entrant will have picked exactly 30 games, each team in baseball one time, over a 50 day period.

$30 per player, winner take all.

The tiebreaker, once we get there, and if we need it ... will be to pick the winners of every baseball game on the last day of the contest, Monday, May 25th. Note - May 25 is both the final day of the contest, AND the tiebreaker day. Any competitors who could potentially be involved in a tie will have to pick the winners of all the games that day. And also identify their final Pick 30 selection, if they still have one pick left to make.

Reminder, picks must be time stamped before the MLB.com start time. Home team always listed second. Most TOTAL wins.

As of right now, 19 players. Have till 1:10 to join. $570 for the winner. 13 people in so far for the full season contest, so $390 in the kitty for those people for most wins over the 90 games of the three phases. I keep track of who everyone has left, and will post updates roughly once a week in here.

IMO, funnest part about this pool is not cheering for your teams, but cheering for the bottom feeder teams everyone picks against.
