I prefer to play Titleist ProV1 balls but if I'm not playing a competitive round I'll play anything that doesn't have a cut or scuff.

Thanks, now if I can only figure out how to use them....Remember, is always the club's fault, not the player.

Besides, all of the clubs I have in the bag have been purchased used at some really decent prices. No sense in paying full prices for the hot new clubs of the year when a nice used set from the previous year (at a 50% discount) does the job just as well. The only one that is new is the putter...decided to splurge and treat myself with that one.

You can get some awesome deals on ebay and other golf related sites, if you know what you are looking for. Would be more than happy to point ya in the right direction if you know what you want.

My dad and I actually build all of our own clubs. It's cheaper (my entire set ran me about $150) and we get to play around with new stuff a lot more often than we would otherwise. Pretty simple to do, too.

True, but I don't really get to brag about my clubs with other people, so there's that.

^^True but buit clubs + cash is better than name brand clubs and a credit card payment. Plus, these clubs only help me out so much and I have no excuses like...these clubs are junk.
