Curious to the folks who were around to watch him play, was he bad or just hurt all the time, or what out of curiosity?
He seems to be a better GM.

He came into the league with two bum knees and he was not athletically gifted to begin with. Smart, hard-working role player with a nice set shot, but overall, he was limited in terms of what he could do. He did take a swing at Michael Jordan in a playoff game, so he had that going for him.
Was drafted by the Los Angeles Clippers but refused to play for them so he signed with a team in Italy. Just after doing so, his rights were traded to Cleveland with Reggie Williams for Ron Harper and two first-round picks. Ferry came back the next season and signed a 10-year contract with the Cavs and produced next to nothing for them. As a 6'10 white "power" forward, Ferry had one decent season as a sixth man for Cleveland in the mid-90s but even then he looked terrible and played like he belonged in the insurance business. He stuck around long enough as a 3-point specialist to sign with the Spurs a decade later when his initial contract finally expired.

BP, what stream are you watching? Bookmark this site (http://atdhe.net/index.html), it's where I go first to watch Cavs games not televised in my area. NBA TV feed with Albert-Fratello tonight.

He's been out for a week with some shoulder injury.

Meaning, is "JayZ" still moving them to Brooklyn?
I've heard they may move to MSG? To Newark?
Why not go in with the Islanders and revamp the Coliseum?
Last I read, even the Nets didn't know what the future held.
If I were a Nets fan in Joyzee, I'd be peeved.

Then who got banged up earlier in the half for the Nets?
I remember the injury timeout and there was a Net grabbing his right hip.

When Ferry was coming out of Duke, he carried with him the "next Larry Bird" moniker. He was supposed to be the real deal. Never panned out. It didn't take long for the fans to hate him since Ron Harper was a beloved Cav at the time. Had he remotely lived up to expectations, fans would have been OK with the trade. As it was, though, it didn't take long for this trade to go down in infamy. Personally, I liked Harper at the time. But I had been drinking the "Next Larry Bird" Kool Aid, so I was thrilled with the trade. It didn't take me long to change my mind, however. Most fans wouldn't admit, like I did, that they were originally behind the trade.Triple-S wrote:LOL @ Danny Ferry highlights with the Cavs.

They only showed his good highlights, but I heard he had like a Laura Hughes type of thing contract wise.
He seems to be a better GM.
