Seriously, if somehow Scorsese got back in with a movie with DeNiro, Pesci, Liotta, and Pacino, I'd be sitting out there in a lawn chair a week before it came out in theaters like a Star Wars nerd.

However, when I say "old timer" I mean like 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s gangster. American Gangster last year; was cool... but I prefer something from an older time period.

Just saw this last night and was mildly disappointed. For the star talent involved and for Dillinger being such an interesting true story, this film just did not deliver. The dialogue was lacking (and sometimes was inaudible), it was too long, and the movie just did not do a good job making the viewer relate to the story. I put this more on the script than the actors. The whole thing seemed like the idea was "Our movie will be great because it has Depp, Bale, gangsters and gunfire! Who needs a script?!"

one of the most underated mob movies of all time. Only reason I watched it the first time, was because it had the Garrettsville train robbery in it. I want to watch it again.

Public Enemies is a good movie to watch with the woman. Lots of action, good acting, and the woman will sit through it to watch Johnny. Reward yourself, with a trip to the bedroom with her, after. That is about the best thing, I can say about this film, in comparison to many other better mob movies out there.
