It is only to point out the BE himself has attempted to liken himself with Mr. Dangerfield in his feeble attempt to declare that he gets no respect. I myself, would never consider the comparison, I humbly submit.
Certainly, Braylon tried to play the "no respect" angle, but the inherent difference really is in the level of respect. Rodney only requested the slightest glimmer of respect, that which would be allowed to any reasonable, decent human. The humor was, of course, in the fact that he was denied even this. Braylon can't understand why he isn't deified, despite the poor chemistry he brings to the sidelines and the long succession of clutch not-catches he has made.
Were these two figures ever to meet, Rodney would likely claim he took Braylon's mother to a dog show, and she won. Or something to that effect.
