I second the motion. Although in an hour I'd probably change my mind to either Mt. Dew, Diet MD, MD Code Red, or MD Baja Blast @ Taco Bell).

However, shouldn't this thread be called "Favorite Pop"???

It depends for me.

I like Coke with pizza.

I like Pepsi straight up by itself better than any other cola.

But cola's really suck in a way.

7 up is good stuff and so are certain brands of ginger ale, Vernors is good.

MD Baja Blast @ Taco Bell

Excellent choice. I had that last night.

Yeah ... WTF is soda? That like pop?

Or you can roll like we do down south and call everything a coke.
Typical conversation at the game....

Fan 2: Yeah, get me a coke.

As we approach Easter and Passover, Coke will be releasing a small amount of Kosher Coke that is made with sugar and not HFC.

It tastes like Coke used to before they came out with new Coke in the 80s.

Certain Mexican Food sections at grocery stores carry Coke from Mexico that is also made with sugar instead of HFC. The Kroger by where I live has it in 12 oz glass bottles.

I drink diet coke but with splenda instead of nutri-sweet. It has a yellow label on the box. Nutri-sweet has a nasty after taste.

What ever happened to Hillbilly Juice?

My top ten list of pop/soda:

1) A & W Root beer

2) Vernors Ginger Ale

3) Fanta Cherry Soda

4) Grape Nehi

5) RC Cola

6) Seven up

7) Squirt

8 ) Dr. Pepper

9) Shasta Cream Soda

10) Orange Crush

For some reason most of the sodas I like are green. I really like Green River and Stewart's Key Lime sodas. The only problem is that Green River is really hard to find, but it tastes just like green Kool-Aid + carbonation. If you ever see some somewhere give it a shot.

I rarely ever drink pop. Occasionally I'll pick up a sixer of A&M root beer. Or maybe cherry coke or pepsi.

Coffee from 7-12. Water from 12-8. Beer or vodka after 8.

If I'm at the store, at a restaurant, at a gas station, or mixing Jack Daniel's in it, Coke is where it's at. But if I'm up in Ohio, the best coke drink (I'm from the South, it's all coke but lower-case if you're referring to it as a generic soft drink term) is B&K Root beer from the drive-ins in Cuyahoga Falls. There are two, and I grew up with my grandparents taking me because THEY grew up going to B&K. It's the BEST and if you live near there and haven't tried it, it's worth the drive! The hot dogs aren't bad either, and the one on State Road has fries...the other one (I think it's on Munroe Falls Ave) doesn't, but they have cheese corn. Now I'm thirsty for root beer!

good stuff when you're in Mrytle Beach.

Dr. Pepper, and Mountain Dew code red is awesome for the stuff I can get locally.

I've been trying to cut down on my pop consumption, and have been drinking Vitamen Water lately. The lemonade is good, and so is any of the "red" flavored.

Plus LeBron drinks it, and psychology I think it helps put money in his wallet encouraging him to stay a Cavalier.

Dublin Dr. Pepper. It's only made at the Dublin, TX bottling plant and is made with the original recipe, with cane sugar instead of this high-fructose corn syrup crap.

Mexican Coca-Cola too. Made in Mexico (obviously), uses real sugar instead of HFCS.

As for stuff you can actually find in the average store, regular Dr. Pepper is still good, Mountain Dew, and Vernor's ginger ale (which doesn't exist down here in Texas) are my favorites.

ditto. all flavors too - regular, code red, orange livewire, pitch black (miss it), baja blast, voltage, revolution, supernova, amp, mdx. did i miss any??? hee-hee!!!

no but seriously though, i just can't stand the taste of cola drinks because they use carmel extract to give them their brown color and it just leaves this horrible aftertaste in my mouth.

the only one i can drink is root beer and that's because it's naturally brown and so it doesn't use any carmel extract.

i need my caffeine and i just can't stand the taste of coffee. mountain dew gives me that caffeine. there is no substitute!!!
