FIx your mock drafts....

Culpepper to the Dolphins and Brees to the Saints.

I guess the saints are no longer interested in Leinert. My question is why would Brees, who could sign just about anywhere, go to an organization as inept as New Orleans?

#1 - He wants to be a hero
#2 - There is an outside chance the team is in LA in the near future and that is some attractive endorsement lute out there.
#3 - Something mentiones on ESPN that I just caught in passing, but it sounded like he has a pretty decent out clause at some point early in the contract.

Vince Young to the Raiders at 7 seems to make a lot of sense right about now.

6 years and 60 million with 10 mil guaranteed will bring you around real fast. :D

Do you think VY will last until the seventh pick? I have heard that Tennessee is looking at him real hard. Steve McNair would be an excellent tutor for Young.

All the speculation I saw yesterday was that the Titans will take Leinart.

However, no one expected them (Oilers at the time) to take McNair either. And the whole VY growing up in Tennessee, and idolizing McNair thingie. McNair also flamed out on his Wonderlic, and turned out pretty damn good.

Should be interesting ...

FWIW, I agree with that take as well and for similar reasons. I don't think Leinart is a lock for the Titans. Depending on how trades go or not go, it wouldn't surprise me to see Leinart picked a little later in the first round, perhaps by the Raiders.
